Last night at the Ice Skating show they were playing music from Tommy. In the row in front of us a young lady, 30s, was loving it! When they started playing Pinball Wizard she turned around excited, gave me a huge smile and thumbs up! After the show I asked her if she grew up listening to this with her dad...... Yes! And I still have the cassette!..... I was happy she was having such great memories. BTW, the ice skating was great.

We are at the ice skating show. I have never noticed this before but they had a roped off corner section. When we approached the section the lady asked if we were diamond and then let us in. I don't remember a diamond section on other ships. Now with 5 minutes left they opened it up for the rest of the seats to be filled.

I am not sure why so late. I am not sure if the rough sea has slowed us down. It didn't feel like they slowed down. 😆 The app and I believe the original itinerary had an earlier arrival. Our paper planner showed the new time. I think boarding is around 6pm and sail away 6:30 pm. Many are already headed back. I just noticed the tram going for the first time. I don't understand why they don't use the tram to haul folks from the boat to the end of the pier.

It makes a difference doesn't it. Over 20 years ago we were chaperones for a youth group, including our older 2 DDs. We took them to Mexico City. We meet many that had just the very basics to get by. The cool thing was to see that they still enjoyed life! I believe it made a big difference in my girls, and us. In 2017 I visited Cambodia with anotherfriend. Some of the people we visited in rural areas lived in elevated open grass huts. They too were thankful for what they had. It is easy to take for granted what we have.

We have made it to Costa Maya. We didn't dock until 12:30 pm. As most know the pier here is long! The tram brought back memories of our January visit. On our way back last time I got on one side, stumbled to the other side where I landed on a rope that stopped me from falling the other side. If it wasn't there I am sure I would of landed in the water. I am relaxing in the Solarium. Sharon got off, got some dolls for the grand girls and is already back.

Top Gun was good. It was real windy so captions came in handy. After that we went to the show. I had my traditional Miami Vice. We are finishing breakfast in the Windjammer. This time I remembered the omelet station. Right now I am getting around with the Rollator to get some walking in. Headed out to enjoy the sun.

The charger that RC found and brought to us seems to be working. It is a challenge with the control on the right side. I have already ran over our Solo cruiser's toes and hit into some chairs. Although I am not getting what I want I am content. Life is better when we can be content. It's a blessing just to get out on a cruise. We were hanging out in the Solarium hot tube where I met another person from the area I grew up in Ohio. It was fun talking with him. When I went to leave I couldn't get out of the Hot tube! My new friend and a couple more others came over and helped me out! So many kind people.

We enjoyed dinner in the main dining. Started off with the traditional Shrimp. 🍤 They offered fried chicken with mash potatoes and corn on the cob. They said you could substitute a grilled chicken breast. I did the grilled chicken breast. It came out with different sides. The waiter was kind enough to take it back and get the original sides! The sauce in the cup was really good. Honey with Tabasco sauce. I loved dipping the chicken and mash potatoes in it. For dessert I went with the Boston Cream pie.

Great idea. So Sharon went to get them, handed her card over and the bartender said, your not diamond. 🤔 our cards did not say diamond! So off to the loyalty desk to get the cards fixed. In the meantime our cruise friends got us Daiquiris. Then we got this! I was also able to catch a nice view. BTW, I would of posted some of this earlier but I got locked out of the internet for awhile. 😆 This is reminding me of our Miami saga. After so many things happen you just start to laugh at the next thing.

They said they would call back and update us. After waiting another hour I called for the 3rd time. This time a good representative helped us. The manager from the Galveston warehouse is supposed to be bringing a charger and switching the controller to the left side. We will see. In the mean time we have been stuck in the room over 2 hours. After we cruise away I may forget to say virgin when I get a Peach Daiquiri and a Miami Vice and a....... and a......! I better not miss my 1st day ice cream cone!

Snag 3. Got to the room to find that Scootaround delivered the wrong wheelchair! The tag on the wheelchair agrees with our confirmation but it is not the same one. It is supposed to be a Whills model Ci with a control on the left side. We got a Jazzy with control on the right hand and no charger. We have waited now an hour for a call back. We confirmed a week ago they had the correct model Whills. So aggravating.
