@Ocean Boy While flying today the guy next to me noticed we both had Samsung phones. He had the S22 Ultra. We talked options for awhile. I showed him how to turn the background to black and white when shouting in portrait mode. He really liked that. He would take zoom pics and say look at this! I guess he thought I didn't know how good of a zoom pic they take. 😂

So we just noticed that while we were flying RC sent Sharon an email saying show up at noon. The rest of us got nothing. Some on the FB thread said they go one saying show up later and another saying show at original time. 😂 Hard to believe that RC IT could screw up.

Maybe that 10x zoom on my phone will get it. 🔎

Are you still at the Schooner Bar? If so please tell him John and Sharon says high. He helped us out a lot while we were cruising in October. He has working the Bow and Stern Pub. We told him we could be boarding this week. He was trying to get his contract extended at the time. BTW, We are looking forward to the Peach Daiquiris.

I usually don't watch much of the NFL but the Jags VS Chiefs has been a good game.

We live about the same distance away from MEM but usually go LIT so we can spend the night at our DD's house. I've been hearing mixed thoughts on the drive. Some saying construction is slowing them down. When I Google map it says 33 minutes. The Lyft app says 1 hour. We are going with an hour. Better early than late..... Unless I am standing in cold.

Now that's following along! Glad you are joining us. Was that Thursday 2 days ago? Wow. Adventure is one we haven't tried yet but want to try. Our shot at Buc-ees is gone now. We plan to Lyft by 9am tomorrow. We have an OVB on Deck 8. Deck 8 on Oasis class has become a favorite.

We made it to the hotel. No slowdowns with Southwest! After checking in we walked about a 1/4 mile to the nearest (and only) restaurant called Jimmy Changas. It was a nice Mexican restaurant. We got there around 2. Not to busy when we got there. It really picked up after a while. I learned something. I got to get in "Live" mode! 😂 I did not take pics of the food! Sharon and I shared Ribeye tacos. When we finished it was raining pretty hard so we decided to get some dessert. After eating the dessert we decided to go. When we walked outside we realized it was colder and drizzling. The couple seating outside looked like they were chilled to the bone so we got a Lyft back to the hotel.

Let's hope someone doesn't try starting Monopoly here.

We watched Monopoly twice last October.

Are friends have gone before and loved it. Since we don't have a car I am not sure how we can. Hopefully close to where we are staying. BTW, I have brought the Insta x3 with us. I hope I can edit it good enough to post some video. Also found my old Gopro 6. I had to have my DD remind me how to use it. @brillohead is taking us to a cool snorkeling place in Roatan and thought it might come in handy. The X3 is waterproof but I don't know what the quality is shooting underwater.

Yes, seems like a couple months ago. Then they sent something that said, see you at your boarding time. Our boarding time is 10:30am and that is when we will arrive. I will try to remember to let you know how it goes. @brillohead didn't seem to have a problem boarding last week when she arrived at her scheduled time. BTW, didn't you cruise Allure recently.

Our last cruise before everything closed down was out of Galveston on Liberty after it was amped. If I remember this will be our 4th Galveston. Happy they have Oasis class now.

We really enjoyed Mamma Mia last October. Can't wait to see your favorite ice skating show, Monopoly! 😂

@brillohead Thanks for getting it going. We are flying SW and have made it half way so far, Dallas, with no problem. We are scheduled to fly from here at 11:00 am to Houston. When we arrived at the LR Airport we noticed long lines and the first thing that came to mind was canceled flights when we got stranded in Miami. Found out it was people that didn't check in online. My asst TA, Sharon, had us covered and we had a quick check in. After we moved on it was weird the TA line seemed longer than the regular line. Once we land in Houston we will Lyft to League City where we will spend the night. I hear there's a Buckkees there. 😲 Not sure if we will get to go.

I had an "OH crap" moment. We get to the airport early and see a long line. Luckily my asst TA had us checked in. About to board. Let's hope the connecting flight goes smoothly.

The 4 do not have to be staying in the same cabin either. We share with another couple that cruise with us all the time.

We cruised Allure last October with the UDP. The 5 of us agreed that Giovanni's was our favorite. We are boarding again this Sunday and are doing the 3 night plan. We are doing Giovanni's twice and Chops. I think you would enjoy all 3. The only one we would not consider again is Sabor. Everyone's taste is different.

My regular tank is under the house. So if I replaced it with a tankless it could be under the house. Does it take long for the water to heat up? How hot can you set it.

OHIO was their encore song. Big song when playing in Cleveland. My brother was part of the National Guard during the Kent State riots. His Akron unit was sent to Kent State. He was one of the few they had stay back to guard the Akron Armory.

When you come to a stop light or anywhere you have to hold the brake, there is a button you can push that will hold the brake for you. It releases when you hit the gas peddle.

I had not heard about any of them passing away. In 1974 the Cleveland stadium had the World Series of Rock. I got to see CSNY along with Santana and a couple other bands. Over 80,000 attended. Another time I went to a Jefferson Starship concert and Jeff Beck was the backup band. At the time I was not familiar with Beck. He was great. Although JS played great I enjoyed Beck even more that night.

Sharon drives most of the time. She likes the auto stop/start feature. When I drive I usually don't engage it by pushing harder on the brake. Not that I don't like it. We both forgot about brake hold feature. Sharon used to use it often. Now that you mentioned it, maybe we will remember to use it again. So many options to keep up with.
