I am currently thinking two days in Valpo, including the disembarkation day, and then getting to Santiago either the evening of the second day or the following morning and then flying home from Santiago on that third day, late in the evening. We were on the Riviera in January, and your comments closely match what we thought, too. Both The casino bar and Horizons had Woodford Reserve, and if you like a classic Manhattan, Ivan is definitely your man! Your mention of the lamb lollipops nearly made me swoon. We’ll be on the Marina in April for its repositioning cruise. I’m just going to say they better have them. Enjoy the rest of your cruise. You, too, ORV. 😊

I think the good news here is that the tour operators, who are dependent upon cruise ship business, follow the port times closely and adjust their tours accordingly. We have typically been notified by Oceania of planned port time changes. For the most part, none of the changes have materially affected our tour plans.

You know, I ask myself that question every time I look in the mirror these days.

I had my lock cut off, too. Can’t remember where now, but I thought the TSA had keys, so I’m thinking it was a baggage handler wherever it was. I never pack anything remotely valuable, so they were sadly disappointed, but still not a happy thought.

Good point. The porters will take any bag that has an O tag on it. It’s up to you, if you want to send your carryon with them. I usually keep mine with me, and it’s never been a problem.

We did Barcelona to Miami on the Sirena this past November. We had no issues—that made much of a lasting impression on me anyway. It was smooth sailing most of the way. We really enjoyed it!

And the caipirinhas will surely just add to the gorgeousness of the view!

I tuck mine in the top of my bra. Works like a charm and never demagnetizes. :Of course, that doesn’t work so well with a turtleneck. 🙂

Oh, totally. She was pretty aggressive on that and booking another massage. I included that in my end of cruise comments.
