Managed to get out of diamond resorts time share,service charges were going up at an alarming rate

The railway looks like a vist next time we are there,There is also a 1950s show flat which is intresting,shows how and why all those buildings came to be :) guided tours are in french but still worth it

We're taking a road-trip around S.A in January, including Swaziland & Rourke's Drift.

Look at the Ghost Mountain Inn its near Mkuze,if your going from Rorkes drift its not to much of a diversion,you can go into Swaziland via Northern Kwa Zulu,spent 3 years commuting from Durban to Swaziland :):)

Used to go St Lucia to work,its also a excellent boat fishing spot.
Another nice reserve to vist is the Mukuze,its a little futher up the coast.That part off Kwa Zulu is fantastic

We followed google maps to start with,soon gave up on that as it was leading into some unsavoury looking areas.We then walked for about 90 min getting a little lost until we found them,coming back it was about 45 min with a coffe stop :):)

Last time we visted Naples we went to the royal palace near the docks,it was revalation,we then walked along the sea front for ages,it was on a sunday there was a market and some off the front was closed to traffic,all in all it was a good day vist :):):)

Weve also done both lines,find they both have strong points,Azamara,smaller ship,intresting ports,and good food.
Celebrity,better entertainment,more bars and lounges,larger cabins and bathrooms
Would go on either if the price and itenary are correct,in fact its now itenary we look at and not cruise line :):):)

We used the bus with 2 medium suitcases,no problems or extra charges :):)

We followed a self guided walk,got details from the tourist board,was interesting,the town is quaint and lots of narrow streets,check the estate agents its nearly London prices

We also spent a week in the Okavango delta,3 days in a wet camp and 4 in a dry camp,it was a magical experience and one we would love to repeat .:):)

Try room mate Pau,nice hotel and a decent breakfast,its next door to els corte englis department store,about 2 min walk to the busses and station :)

Catch the train to Fota and walk up to the house,it has some lovely gardens.Titanic walking tour is very intresting

We docked overnite in Barcelona a few weeks ago,1st day the bus was 3 euros return,2nd day they put up the price to 4:(.There was also a ship shuttle coach for 5e return,this dropped you at the world trade centre.This was on the Jewel of the seas

That will save us a few $,the newer menu in bistro on 5 was quite good a lot more choice :):)

We docked a short walk from Honfleur last year on the Adonia(which is the same class as the Quest) it was approx 10 min walk :)

I did an advert survey last week it had pandas in it,finshed the survey then, people on the veranda drinking fizz and looking at sharks.Must have had some impact as i remember it i think :eek:

You can catch the train,From Rotterdam to Paris,then Paris to london,Then onto Southampton,Hi speed train all the way to London
The flight form Amsterdam to Southampton is only a short one and a lot Quicker,The train from Rotterdam stops at the airport in Amsterdam :)

Osborne house has opened its garden terrace for the 1st time,A trip to Shanklin old village is a nice vist even better if the sun is shining,Steephill cove near Ventnor is another nice place,Most of these places are best visted by car unless your staying on the IOW for a few days,you could spend a week on the IOW visting lots of different towns and sites
