A lot of travel insurances will not cover you if you have an accident on a scooter etc, A person on our last cruise rented a quad bike and 1 person had to walk up the steeper hills :o:)

I think you are confusing Lyme Disease with Weil's Disease, which is indeed spread by rat urine and is a form of leptospirosis. They are both extremely nasty anyway.

Lymes is also spread by rat urine,not nice i know so any where rats run it can be picked up,when i worked in how can i say tunnels, we were taught if we got flu to tell the docs to test for it . in this case its hand to mouth :(

I too was going to mention the street traders, who pack up and run away when the police appear,You will find them on the bridge over the harbour that goes to the large shopping centre,at the bottom of Las Ramblas,wouldnt go near them :)

Le Harve its self is worth exploring,they have a good tourist board

We enjoyed going to La Rochelle and just walking about we visted the tower in the photos

Vigo we normally end up browsing the shops as long as its not Sunday,you can also get oysters from the various bars in the old town,a vist to cortes englais (a department store is a must)if you like walking a trek to the top of the hill is worth it alto its very steep :)
