  1. In the fixed price meal you can order one or two or even three appetizers if you wish, plus a soup and a salad they don’t put limits on you but portions are large so don’t fill up on bread
  2. One picture is classic, the other picture is premium these photos were from Sky Lounge on Infinity
  3. It is not worth getting crazy just to take a cruise. Give it a year and see how things go
  4. That advice will work on Infinity but remember that you can’t order off the MDR menu in Blu on e class ships
  5. Your dining room assignment is blue. If you wish to eat in the main dining room, let the maître d’ at blue know so they can make arrangements for you since you do not have a table assignment in the main dining room. Please don’t just show up there. Some people do that and say “oh I had no trouble getting in the main dining room” and that may have been true when the ships sailed less than full, but as the weeks pass, it can create a problem so please just coordinate with the Blu staff. There is no trouble, however, going to breakfast or lunch in the main dining room if you choose— it’s just dinner that is congested.
  6. you will be Elite. Call captains Club to enroll whichever you like depends on where you are in the world, where you are standing on the ship, how many others are on line at the same time as you, maybe the phase of the moon, who knows
  7. Sometimes they throw in a little extra if you book within the first two days of the cruise. Could be a bottle of wine or a small gift.
  8. These are from the sky lounge on infinity July 2022
  9. Yes you can drop your carry-on bags in the room and pick up your keys and then go out exploring the ship or having lunch. The room may not be completely cleaned on your arrival but you can set your carry-on bags inside and the steward will work around them
  10. Yes the restaurant “deal” probably would have been offered regardless of supposed change in status.
  11. I am in a standard veranda room and everything is fine. As I walk around the ship, I see a few scuff marks here and there but nothing broken. There are some missing floor indicator buttons on a couple of elevators but that’s being really nitpicking. I generally don’t go to the shows in the theater so I won’t be able to help with that. The entertainment around the ship is very good, especially the solo guitarist who has a very nice voice. my only complaint is the internet. It was difficult to get it set up and it seems to turn itself off intermittently. I have premium on my iPhone and standard on my iPad and I can’t access cruise critic on the iPad. It’s very slow on both devices.
  12. It’s funny, as I was sitting at Café al Bacio today looking across toward the gelato stand, I was thinking how beautiful the M class ships are with their use of warm woods and comfortable upholstery fabrics. I love the open spaces, and cozy nooks. I love the quiet elegant bars. I do miss the deck 3 specialty restaurants that disappeared when Tuscan went in, though, Ocean Liners and its sisters. I do mostly sail S class ships these days and they took a little getting used to. I remember how much I hated the color-changing neon lights in the dining room when I first saw them. But I do like Murano and the aft-facing Tuscan (can’t stand Petite Chef, though!) I am vehement and vocal about my dislike of e class and will never sail on one again.
  13. I do not know about the affogato. cafe as Bacio has always been a bar and as far I know you can order a variety of liquors there
  14. They did not have any pre-made pasta casseroles at the buffet yesterday. I didn’t go today.
  15. The point system is still connected to Azamara. No one knows how much longer that will stay however.
  16. Yes all the ships have a coffee cafe. Some also have a satellite location in the buffet.
