  1. Your global entry is unnecessary. Your booking number and passport and credit card will be needed.
  2. No it isn’t double dipping. The standard gratuities cover the no-extra-charge venues, not the specialties
  3. It’s very typical for their website to go down over the weekend. Try again on Monday. Meanwhile, turn your device off and on. Sometimes that helps.
  4. Generally, yes, that is correct. Taxes and fees go up and down. In a few days, the taxes may rise to a higher price than you originally paid. So they generally will not reprice your cruise for a reduction in the taxes.
  5. Sorry I did get the threads mixed up. I need to stop posting before coffee
  6. Thanks for the correction. I apologize for giving misinformation😔🫢
  7. Did you even read this? it is NOT the flu, despite your assertion in post #10.
  8. AFAIK all prices on Celebrity are always in USD no matter where in the world the ship is.
  9. It is not unusual for these to be unavailable on holiday cruises.
  10. Donuts like that are used in recalibrating the compasses and other equipment on board. Perfectly normal. Nothing to be alarmed about.
  11. The future cruise desk only books new reservations, and they can’t change existing ones. If you booked straight with Celebrity, contact them; if you’ve booked with a travel agent contact that agent.
  12. The menu is extensive. It includes all the breakfast foods you would expect to see although is there perhaps something special you want to me to look for?
  13. Tidal variations make a difference too
  14. I have seen oranges (peeled and sliced), apples, pineapple chunks and pears at the buffet recently
  15. I was on that cruise and can add a little bit to this. A friend went racing down to the medical center that morning to volunteer. He had forgotten to bring his donor card with him, and was frantically trying to pull up the information on the Red Cross app, when he was told that they already had enough blood, but they were very grateful for his effort. later in the cruise, they sent a nice dessert to his stateroom with a thank you note. A couple of days after that he was invited to the bridge for a tour. He was surprised because he wasn’t in a big suite and he didn’t have a lot of Captains Club status, but they told him it was because he had volunteered. Later we were sitting in café Al Bacio when a woman struck up a conversation and it turned it had been her husband who was taken to hospital in New Orleans! It was good to know that he made it. So folks, if you are a donor, tuck that card into your wallet and bring it with you!❤️🫀
  16. What kind of beverage package? What drinks were ordered? were the drinks over the price limit of the package?
  17. Yes. And the ship would not be empty. Some passengers will have already gone to Iceland and spent some time there on land vacations, making their way to the port for their cruise. Some passengers will be back to back. there is even a possibility that passengers from the previous cruise, who now would not be able to leave Iceland, would choose to book a last-minute back to back sailing and wait for the airport to open.
