  1. I have seen oranges (peeled and sliced), apples, pineapple chunks and pears at the buffet recently
  2. I was on that cruise and can add a little bit to this. A friend went racing down to the medical center that morning to volunteer. He had forgotten to bring his donor card with him, and was frantically trying to pull up the information on the Red Cross app, when he was told that they already had enough blood, but they were very grateful for his effort. later in the cruise, they sent a nice dessert to his stateroom with a thank you note. A couple of days after that he was invited to the bridge for a tour. He was surprised because he wasn’t in a big suite and he didn’t have a lot of Captains Club status, but they told him it was because he had volunteered. Later we were sitting in café Al Bacio when a woman struck up a conversation and it turned it had been her husband who was taken to hospital in New Orleans! It was good to know that he made it. So folks, if you are a donor, tuck that card into your wallet and bring it with you!❤️🫀
  3. What kind of beverage package? What drinks were ordered? were the drinks over the price limit of the package?
  4. Yes. And the ship would not be empty. Some passengers will have already gone to Iceland and spent some time there on land vacations, making their way to the port for their cruise. Some passengers will be back to back. there is even a possibility that passengers from the previous cruise, who now would not be able to leave Iceland, would choose to book a last-minute back to back sailing and wait for the airport to open.
  5. Sorry that should have read eliminates not illuminates
  6. Neither is likely. If the ship can sail, it will, regardless of the airport situation.
  7. There are certain hormones in a woman’s blood if she has been pregnant. They would be there even if she never knew she was pregnant. So asking for male donors only illuminates any possible hormonal interaction.
  8. I doubt if there is such an email address. Even those in suites who are contacted by a short site concierge find that their requests don’t always get transferred to the ship.
  9. You hope you will never need to see this, but should there be a helicopter evacuation and a medical emergency? You would have an amazing view.
  10. You know that you won’t have a balcony on Apex, just a window that opens, don’t you?
  11. It’s a little hard to see but there is a crew bar tucked under the helipad. When I was in one of the far-forward rooms I could hear partying there into the early hours of the morning since they use that area mostly in the overnight hours
  12. It’s a sincere query. Did he have a bad experience? What happened that he has decided not to sail on Celebruty again?
  13. So what happened to Steve McQuin to cause him to reopen the thread?
  14. Why does everyone have to fly into Reykjavík? Will there be no back to back passengers?
  15. What is the reason you re-opened this zombie thread?
  16. You can try. But don’t be surprised if you are told that the only things they will be you are what’s on the printed menu.
  17. I always wish that, instead of concentrating quite so much effort on the selling end up selling packages, with nearly an email every day, it might be useful for the cruise lines to once in a while, emphasize what not to bring. Sometimes the caveat seems hidden almost on purpose, leading to the “naughty table” after every cruise
  18. If you have a package, show your card at any bar. Otherwise you will sign a chit for each drink ordered.
  19. You have posted on the main Celebrity page, not the Roll Call
