  1. Terrific, make sure you contact Royal Caribbean prior to your cruise to set up a crown and anchor account. That way everything will be in order once you board. You should receive a letter in your cabin, noting all of your discounts/offers. If you don’t get the correspondence, call:visit the loyalty ambassador. Enjoy. m
  2. Someone always figures out a way around the system. SMH m
  3. We ask the attendant on the first day and he/she will leave the extras when servicing the cabin the next morning. M
  4. Food was not completely consumed. Half platter of grilled Salmon would not do well in the trash can till the next day. Honestly, I'm not going to wash and dry my room service food dishes and then take them to the Windjammer. Luckily I generally don't eat in the cabin. So, issue resolved for the future. M Edit - end of conversation from me. OP - Sorry I hijacked this thread. M
  5. I generally agree but once a day cleaning presents a new issue. Cabin was serviced at 9 AM (I am an early riser and prefer early cleaning.) Had early lunch in the cabin. What do I do with my dirty dishes and uneaten food until 9 AM the NEXT morning? 20 hours later. Can’t leave them on the balcony as the hot sun against that uneaten food would not be pleasant. In the “old” days plates would be picked up at the second service. Now they are not picked up until the next morning. I don’t eat in the cabin often, but did on a recent cruise. m
  6. That is the general current rate. We paid less for a January Wonder cruise but we bought the package in March. It has increased since then. Lots of good dining options. m
  7. Lots of cute swag. I'm sure some of it will be on ebay next week. There is already a shirt there. Getting ready to move - what a chore! m
  8. What do we do with once a day cleaning in non-suite cabins? Dirty plates could sit in a cabin for almost 24 hours. I hate them in the hallway but that is often the only option. If one has early cleaning (what we prefer), a mid afternoon snack will not be picked up till the next day. M
  9. Looked like a terrific cruise. Safe travels home and Happy Belated Anniversary. What is planned for the 20th? M
  10. Seems there are new cruisers on every ship these days and that is how RCCL likes it! There were around 630 total C&A reported at the top tier party. If I do my math correctly, with approx 2200 passengers, over 70% were new cruisers. Seems high, but like I said, what RCCL wants. We took Wonder in the Spring and had over 100 P on the sailing. M
  11. Ship holds somewhere around 6000. So, the other 3000 are new cruisers! m
  12. I’m surprised the numbers on Wonder are so low. We had 17 Pinnacles on Grandeur (7 night) last week and Grandeur is 1/3 the passenger count of wonder. m
  13. I understand that the half-and-half is tied to the way one dresses for dinner. If you wear shorts for dinner to the MDR you get milk for your coffee. If you wear slacks for dinner, you get half-and-half. If you want cream, you need to wear formal dress. m
  14. Not sure how a post about the president’s cruise became a “let’s dump on Pinnacles” thread. Anybody can go on a President Cruise. You don’t even have to be a member of crown and anchor. m
  15. If you dress in slacks, you will be served Half and Half. In shorts you will get milk. Want real cream, wear evening clothes! M
  16. Sweet story - Our routine as well. Except we ate first then drank! I'm sure you went to the old Daq. Shack location, prior to the Baha Mar. Our photo is still on the back wall. M
  17. We’ve been riding the number 10 bus in Nassau for over 20 years. The buses are a small jitney, are clean, generally air conditioned, and are safe. Be sure you take the 10 and not the 10A. m
  18. Haven’t seen much on cruise critic regarding the Presidents Cruise. I am catching up on a few pages of another social media site. Lots of swag, that I imagine will be available on eBay early next week. Lots of activities and lots of photos. Those who are attending look to be having a lot of fun and are enjoying the attention received from Royal Caribbean top management. m
  19. I saw that posted on another site. And I saw a photo of what appears to be a passenger wearing one. At first I thought it was a joke, and the jewelry was fake. But did someone pay $39,000 to advertise Royal Caribbean? sorry to go off topic. m
  20. Congrats and I love your enthusiasm. We are scheduled to sail in early 2025 so I hope you get a second (third) contract. M
  21. $20 each way to get to fish fry??? ouch. We are regulars on the #10 bus. Goes every 10 minutes or so, $1.50 pp each way. Stops at Fish Fry but we usually take it to Daq. Shack or Baha Mar. Your lunch looks delicious. Never been to that particular restaurant but will give it a try next visit. M
  22. You will likely not get compensation but should ask for a balcony cabin. If your original booking was a balcony, the new one should be a balcony as well. Sort of similar. Our ship was redeployed, and we were offered a few options or cancel. We selected one. The cabin was to remain the same category. (balcony) We were moved from a standard balcony to an Obstructed balcony Cabin. We were told that is all that was available when the ship change was made. The new ship had been open for booking for months. The new cabin was more money than the original booking price, but we were price protected. I came down to take the obstructed cabin or cancel. We kept the cruise. No compensation. Good luck M
  23. Mariner has has open dining in the MDR on embarkation day in May (several cruises) . Same menu/same area as B2B. It was listed in the app. m
