  1. Some people ignore the signs but you have to be REALLY rude to do so. I think they work on enough people to fix the problem. Thank goodness.
  2. Yes. Plus, new ships command higher fares, especially from the port people typically sail from before/after a trip to Walt Disney World. They will make a fortune on short sailings from PC. Disney has been doing this for 25 years. I honestly don’t know what took Royal so long.
  3. Correct. Some are just above the smoking section if that matters to you.
  4. It’s a family cruise line. Those who don’t like kids should sail on Virgin.
  5. There is a rumor on Facebook of Liberty OTS receiving a dry dock in July 2023. Anyone heard more?
  6. Perhaps this: The double points offer is exclusive to our most loyal guests, the Crown & Anchor Society members! Members will receive double Cruise Points on bookings made through September 30, 2021 for sailings departing January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2022.
  7. We were on Wonder from Barcelona on August 14. They were mandatory the first few days and then became optional. Perhaps half kept the masks.
  8. It is bizarre that they’ve changed nothing in Europe when other lines have.
  9. Actually, it’s $36 with the gratuity. I’m sure they are happy to get any money they get. Just like the specialty restaurant servers are happy to serve people on dining plans. An empty table pays less gratuity than a full one.
  10. I’m going by the menu posted above which is apparently a picture taken onboard Wonder.
  11. Sure. We are going on Wonder and the menu above shows only four drinks available in tall. None are iced and they literally market that you can get iced drinks. Guess I’ll find out soon…
  12. I’m assuming the coffee cards are one punch for a tall or, for drinks with only one size, that one size. For example, a tall caffe latte or a grande Frappuccino?
  13. The oddity here is that if you have a coffee card, you can get Starbucks at Cafe Promenade but not at the Starbucks on some ships!
  14. I wonder when they will address their cruises that do not depart from the US. Last I’d seen, they never officially announced Europe protocols after 7/31.
  15. Yeah, but a Bermuda cruise is a thing and kind of needs to stop in Bermuda. I don’t imagine passengers will accept, “there’s Bermuda 20 miles away! Okay, back to New York!”
  16. Clearly, Greece feels differently toward cruise ships since NCL, the only major cruise line to remove the testing requirement in Europe, still requires them from Piraeus.
  17. All of the Odyssey sailings go to Greece, which will require tests, so I’m not surprised that it was kept for Odyssey sailings. Everywhere Wonder goes has stopped demanding tests, so fingers crossed. We have the tests just in case.
  18. I’ve been checking daily for weeks. It only mentioned vaccines, then vaccines and tests, and last Thursday went away altogether. Others report the the same.
  19. What is odd is that we are checked in for August 14 Wonder and there is no longer any mention of testing. The pop-up has been gone since last week. It just says “checked in and ready ro sail.” Time will tell.
