Having watched a few youtube videos of Virgin cruises the demographic they seem to be targeting are the parents of the kids in the video ad. Though there are no doubt cruisers in the 60+ age group that this line may appeal to, I just see this line going for the 40 and under crowd.

Just redeemed the OBC award earlier this month on a cruise I booked online in early May. No problem, just forwarded to Club Royale the requested info. I have been seeing the $100 OBC as well as the $50 casino credit out there and just surprised that the casino credit gets sold out while the OBC credit is still available.

Pre-pandemic days I would usually fly in day of and never had problems, however, considering the world as it is I would never do that again. Recent cruises have been out of Baltimore which is just a short drive/cab ride for me, however , when I start cruising from other ports it will be at least a day earlier arrival.

Just D+ myself on an Enchantment cruise earlier this year. D+ and Pins had access to both lounges in the Crown Loft(?) area most of the day. For the evening cocktail time a separate area was roped off for the Pins in the Viking Crown lounge facing the pool area which looked sort of weird. I only visited the concierge lounge during the day so not sure about evening access for non-suite guests.

The machines in the Diamond lounge make each cup individually, can't get any fresher than that!

Since you are sailing on the Mariner, I would just suggest browsing in any souvenir type gift shop and would be surprised if you did not see something pirate related such as a pirate ship model/toy.

On the phone yesterday working on repricing a reservation. Originally got connected with a gentleman that said my booking was with a group even though I made the reservation online myself which I explained to him. He then proceeded to put me on hold while he supposedly was checking with another department (?). After waiting patiently on hold for about 30 minutes or so I left this hold line open and called RCI on my landline (yes I still have one) and after going through the menu I was immediately connected with a very nice women who was able to reprice the reservation in less than 5 minutes. Mission accomplished and disconnected the on hold call.
