Puerto Plata is new for us too. We don’t mind missing Labadee.

We are on Liberty out of Bayonne. It’s a nine night that originally was going to Bermuda, St Marten, San Juan and Labadee. We are now skipping Bermuda because there’s really bad weather between NJ and Bermuda. We are hugging the coast, heading south to St Marten. Our Labadee stop was changed to Puerto Plata due to the issues in Haiti. I haven’t been on this class ship in a long time. Will be interesting to hear how many are onboard at the top tier this morning. It seems really crowded but that could have been first day craziness.

We sailed from Cape Liberty today. The garage had a sign outside saying handicap parking only but was closed for resurfacing. All cars were sent to an outside lot past the employee parking tent. There was handicap parking way down there and there were shuttles running from that lot to the terminal. We walked from the lot because we didn’t know there were shuttles until we were halfway back to the terminal. Not sure what we are going to do after the cruise as we will have all our luggage and I doubt a porter will go that far. Porters have taken us to the close lot that is across from the parking garage but we might have to take the shuttle or have one of us wait with bags and other go get the car.

Cruise starting great. Just announced we are skipping Bermuda due to weather conditions and first port is now day five.

It says bookings made today and sailings May 9 thru May 31. We are sailing very soon and the water package is 45% off and deluxe beverage package is $64.99, which is 35% off.

Same thing is happening to me too.

I leave on that ship and itinerary Thursday. I have sailed Freedom but not Liberty. I can let you know what we think when we get back.

I can't see any of them either. I tried my laptop and my iphone.

I looked at Marine Traffic for the ship's position but the information is almost 5 hours old for Harmony. At that point, it was at the tip of the island.

Just read on another site that Harmony had to make an emergency medical stop in Cozumel to drop off Captain James. The cruise is continuing on to Roatan with the staff captains in charge. Hopefully he is okay.

We had no service in Vancouver, so having our set sail passes in our iphone wallet worked great. We sometimes print them too, if I remember and have ink. 😄

If your iPhone had battery issues, then the printed copy was a good alternative. If you are talking zip, nada, not cellular coverage, that can happen anywhere. We always put our set sail passes in our wallet on our iPhone so that we don't have to access the app since the app can be unreliable. The iphone wallet can be accessed without cellular or wifi. Screenshot of the set sail pass works too.

He posted pictures before the game and we could tell they are beside the Toronto bench from that picture. Owen's sunglasses are making them easy to see. They are in a lot of shots from a distance but I was able to get them as the team left the ice at the end of the period because they are by the tunnel too. 🙂 Big sports day in Boston area with the Red Sox at 4, Celtics at 6 and Bruins at 8. 😄

I have a 9 day coming up and have a 2 device package. Lowest I have been able to get is $278.91. The 1st device has been as low as $19.99 but when it gets to that the second is discounted at 25%. I had the 1st device at $20.99 and second discounted 30% at one point. Just Royal Caribbean math. Onboard pricing is showing as $26.99.

I follow a few of the cast on Instagram. Stories also pop up in my feed there, a lot from US Weekly. I also follow BravoTV and they are always posting Below Deck videos that aren't on tv. Captain Glenn is good about answering questions from people, you have to read the comments to see them. He posted last week that he has no idea when in 2024 season 5 is coming but it should be this year. When asked if Daisy, Colin and Gary were on this season, he posted a zippered lips emoji. There are also some really good bloggers that are posting a lot from the Serenade and the World Cruise. Lots of gorgeous videos and pictures.

Below Deck Med is coming back early because of all the issues with Gary from Below Deck Sailing Yacht. They were filming season five with Gary as part of the cast when sexual assault allegations were filed against him from a makeup artist. He has posted on another social media site, laying in a field of daisies, saying that he was "cancelled because of a lie". Captain Glenn has posted recently that he will be back in 2024 but nothing more than that. Not sure if they totally reshot a new season or what as they are all under NDA's.

Some concierge will confirm quickly and others will take a day or two. I have always gotten an email confirming they have taken care of our requests.

We always tip when the food gets delivered.

It took over a week for our excursions to load after they changed us to Puerto Plata. Even then, half of the excursion were only there in title, with not details or ability to book. Took a few more days for them to load completely.
