Is there some way I can change my dining from My Time to early dining? (I did ask my TA but she's busy and my cruise isn't until June, so I am probably not high on her priority list)
Did you try doing it online? I have a TA booked cruise with early dining, but I can click on the MTD option in the plan my cruise section.

Why not just open it at 6:30 then to stagger it out a bit? I don't mind that RC has "sped up" the dining and trying to hit a time target, but I am not sure I want to take chances and may opt for early dining; reality is you aren't getting your apps until about 6pm anyways so maybe it's not as early as it sounds?
When we did early dining on LOS recently, it was very fast for a party of two. We would order and the food would come within minutes. They didn't even pause between courses; as soon as we finished, the next thing came. I kept telling them we were not in a rush but I think they try to move people out.
OTOH there was a party of 8 next door with stragglers and they never started on time.

I thought she was buying the deluxe package as well. I think it's because OP mentioned the two refreshment packages at the beginning, which gets 'package' in peoples' heads although it has nothing to do with what you are asking.
I'm glad you're going to discourage it. A few alcholic drinks is not worth sneaking around and worrying about getting punished. If he's not worried, you have a different problem.

Looks like Celebrity isn't currently going there at all.

You can't just change from nonrefundable to refundable. You can change the other way but not back to refundable if you give it up.
I booked thru next cruise and had to pay the extra for refundable deposit, then my ta could change to group space. He was stopping people from booking nonrefundable saying he cant then change it to refundable.
I'm talking about the cruise rep who was pricing out a lower price. If he changed it to refundable on his screen, the price would be higher.

I really hate drinking out of jars. That's all.

He couldn't explain why the price had reduced or even what the nature of it was, and he didn't seem to know how to put the refundable deposit back on.
If you change it to refundable deposit the price will go back up.

Yes, I get door to door service. I love it!
Do they quote you a price if you book in advance?

Have to fend off the attacks with towel clips, ducks, and chocolate bars. There is probably an elaborate barter system in the crew quarters. Don't forget all the leftover amenity beverages.

It is a little sad when you have to specify that such comments are a joke in order to ward off the attacks.
It was when I saw the subsequent post, 'magnets don't pay the rent either'. I was laughing and embarrassed at the same time.

Candyforthecrew is now archived and as such has achieved classic status, but since posting is closed, I wanted to mention that my suggestion to tip with door magnets was a joke.

Could you clarify why "B Vitamins are awful".
The riboflavin has a strong odor and taste. I used to work in vitamin tablet manufacturing. We used to taste test the chewables.

I think they are told to just fill with milk and if someone asks for half and half get them some. Happened to me in a restaurant last week. Asked for half and half got milk said is this milk yes can i get half and half sure and he came back with it.
Half and half is expensive lately.
As long as they ain't puttin bananas by the ketchup.

When I have gone and received medication at the medical center, I was asked if I had taken before or if I had had a reaction to any medications.
I'm only talking about meclizine. You can get it right at GS.

You know what bothers me? Absolutely inconsistent treatment of passenger complaints. $50 for anticipated disappointment over not serving oxtails on an UPCOMING cruise. I wrote the executive office multiple times over itinerary changes with 2 missed ports where the port fees weren't even refunded and got zilch. Missed Oxtails got compensated vs. something that actually DID change my planned vacation as we lost a little bit of money on a private excursion along with the real disappointment of the changed itinerary. I can't help but wonder how much OBC was handed out - inconsistently - to the thousands that wrote in re the menu changes. Truly absurd.
Agreed. I complained that the beds were too hard once. They gave me 30% of my fare(s) as FCC. It was over $1,200. Recently, a friend had a much more serious complaint, one that I advised warranted escalating up, and they got offered $200 obc. Depends on who comes across your communication.

Thanks for the suggestion! The issue is how do I find such a TA? I always do it online myself, don't have any idea how to look for a TA.

Some lady on FB said she found out ahead of her cruise that they were eliminated in Feb. She wrote to Royal and they gave her $50 OBC for her disappointment.
I wish I were making this up. I'm not. She posted the letter she wrote and the response a couple of weeks later.
If something bothers you, there is no harm in writing a letter. Usually they will give you a standard response and sometimes you will get bonus dollars. Like WJ theme nights, ymmv.

Instead of candy or stuff that takes up room, what about adding a door magnet to your cash tip? People have a lot of these and it won't take up space inside the cabin. Or an over the door shoe holder (once you are done with it, of course) to stash all the customer gifts.
Candy can be dangerous and insulting.

I understand that. I still stand by my statement of not getting medication for anyone. My preference as I indicated earlier would be to give the $5 for the medication. If pcur choses to do so, fine. I would not given the same circumstances.
The ship gives out meclizine to cruise passengers for free. They don't ask anyone's medical history.

I was on Liberty's first sailing from Bayonne in May. Every night in the WJ was a themed night and the station serving Indian food nightly was only at the first station upon entering WJ to the right.
I spoke to one of the chefs who said the WJ menu is now the same fleet wide as is the new menu for the MDR.
Talked to only one person about it so maybe he was misinformed. I did eat there 3 nights and didn't notice any themes. We had to search for the Indian food each day and I remember it being all the way in the back. Only ever one choice of entree plus rice, bread and lentils. One night it was a dal and beans choice so a meat protein was not guaranteed. Just seemed to be less choice overall.
And if I was to notice a theme on any night it would be Overcooked and Dry Proteins Night, which happened daily. The beef from the carving station was inedible and I showed the chef as he was coming around to ask how everything was. I did compliment him on his vegetables.

How long ago was this? I looked at some recent Cruise Compass from May 2023 and there were theme nights in the WJ published.
It was in May but things can vary between ships and sailings.

Interesting. Indian food was a daily thing for both lunch and dinner on the Voyager two weeks ago. However it was often the same things.
There was a daily Indian choice, such as a vegetarian or meat curry, but on past cruises we have had an Indian theme night with many choices that was very good.
