  1. Before getting slammed, please note, that I did post this on the Antigua board - with no results.  I am looking for people's experiences who have done this excursion.  I did read some reviews on trip advisor which mentioned lots of seasickness and also many wonderful experiences.  I am recalling an excursion I did years ago from St. Thomas to St. John on a catamaran when I felt very yucky the majority of the trip, I am a bit hesitant on keeping our reservation for this excursion for Antigua.  We will be in Antigua mid Jan. and I do plan on taking Bonine the night prior to the excursion and the morning of the excursion.  If you have done this excursion, would you please let me know if there were many people seasick.  Thank you to all who reply.

  2. Heading to Antigua in Jan. and had read some reviews that many people had gotten seasick on this excursion.  We have this booked, and I plan on taking Bonine the night prior and the morning of the excursion, but I am also considering cancelling it.  I am wondering if it was just an unusually rough day at sea for these people or if it is always rough.  If you have taken this excursion, would you please let me know how your trip was.  Thank you.

Just saw $6.99pppd upgrade (plus grat.) from Standard to Premium Drink Package for our cruise (Beyond, 29Jan2024).  Can that be right?

It lists $15 as the normal price.

I, too, was just able to upgrade from our included Classic pkg. to Premium on two of our upcoming cruises (Silhouette 1/15/24 and Eclipse 10/11/24) for $6.99 pp per day, plus gratuities.  🙂

Thanks... with the basic you are doing excellent.   Most can't get it to load at all.   CC is very data intensive with a lot of behind of the scene activity.

    Really enjoying your Live Post.

I am also on the ship with basic wifi and not having any issues with it whatsoever.   Not even in my room which is midship deck 3.

  5. We did this a few years ago, so I don't recall if we did north or south.  I want to say south.  We saw slave huts, salt mines, past numerous areas you could snorkel and we took it all the way to spend some time at Sorobon Beach.  This is the route I would suggest.

  6. I have reserved MJS Transportation for our return from Port of Miami to FLL for Oct. 23rd.  Our flight is at 12:25 p.m.  As it is just my husband and me this time, this was the most cost-effective option.  When traveling with a group, we have used Larry's Limos which was excellent.  We used them in Oct. 2022.

I am starting to see Labor Day sales on the website.  The pricing can be a bit wonky but there are some good deals to be had.

Thanks for the heads up.  Although I repriced excursions/specialty dinners during the last sale, I was able to reprice at even a lower rate today on all 4 of my upcoming trips.

I don't recall any restaurant that specifically covers all your requirements, but here are some that are close.  Maybe some other resorts that have a day pass might cover all your requirements

The Flying Fishbone has seating on the beach, but doesn't rent the lounge chairs, tables, umbrellas etc.. Really good food, nice ambiance.

    https://www.flyingfishbone.com/

Azzurro Ristorante is overlooking the beach and attached to the Playa Linda Resort, but again, the pool, lounge chairs etc are for guests

Bugaloe is a fun, good vibe restaurant/bar on a pier that overlooks the water and is located between the RIU and the Hilton (again doesn't provide lounge chairs, etc)

When going to Bugaloe, as the taxi driver to take you to DePalm Pier.  This is our go-to when visiting Aruba!

It is of no importance other than to indicate that after being to Bermuda many times there are things we NOW need help dealing with.  This shows that even seasoned cruisers need help and do not know everything.

Sorry if you think otherwise. Happy sailing

I understand your dilemma completely.  Just returned from the Pearl this past Friday.  I was/am having IT Band hip/leg pain brought on by walking only a few hundred feet.  First day we took a shuttle to Horseshoe Bay.  Second day would have liked to go to the Snorkel Park, but there was no way I could do the walk there,  nor could I do the walk to Calico Jack's.   We stayed on board the ship and I enjoyed the pool that day.  I don't know if a taxi driver would  have taken me and  my husband to either, as they are an easy walk for most, as we did not even try to get a taxi.

How great to find a waiter like that who just made the experience so much better!

The staff can really make (or break) a cruise.

Needless to say, I hope you thanked him properly.

Yes, we were three couples at the table (traveling together), and I believe each couple handed him additional gratuity.  🙂
