I just wanted to thank you SO much for your advice on the Joy and booking my HJ cabin on Deck 14 by the elevators! It was the first time we were booked outside the Courtyard and I would 100% do it again, given the location on where we were! My dh was skeptical but I held my ground and he agrees, we would book again outside the Courtyard as long as we are right next to the forward elevators. Pre cruise I asked for a lounger (was going to do when on but figured can't hurt to ask) and it was also already on my balcony. Loved our butler, room steward and the assistant concierge Mr. X. Cheers!

I LOVE this thread and hope it will stay afloat and be more for future bookings but I thought I got a good deal for my August 13 Joy HJ cabin, which was $2,700 per person with my TA AND I had a $1000 FCC (2 $500) It was the first time we have booked outside the Courtyard, but we were right by the elevators on Deck 14 and I think unless I get a winning upgrade bid or a fab price, I will always book outside Haven by elevators again. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be LOL

We are on the same cruise and yes, we sail Haven on NCL and I love the Haven sundeck, but if we are just in the cabin, I would use it. I will ask and see how it goes.

@cruiseny4life Did you have cabin 14182 or very close on Joy. I think it was you that told me to get the cabin you had if I was booking an HJ and it was gone so I booked the one next door. I'm asking because we sail in less than two weeks and want to know if the balcony can fit a lounger. If it can, I want add to my butler letter (thank you @Sthrngary) and add to the tip. Thank you!

Yes, thank you. We sail Haven on NCL and take our luggage off with us so we arent waiting for it. I was just wondering approx what time was first disembarkation.

Welcome home! Do you happen to recall hearing when the first colors were called for disembarkation? Were you sailing in the Haven? Im asking since you mentioned the concierge. Ill be in Haven and want to get off with first group. Thank you.

I wish we could do this. My dh and I both drink but I could really get so much more use out of the Plus beverage package but my dh realky only drinks beer. I would happy give NCL my $400 extra (or whatever it us) but they wont take it because I would have to add my dh.

I book Haven and do not book Vibe. If I was to book Vibe, I would book a regular balcony cabin and upgrade the number of specialty restaurants and do Haven Lite.

Thank you SO much! We sail on August 13 and I printed your Dailies! I really appreciate your taking the time to post on your vacation and read every single word! On a side note, my dh is retired NYPD from the 1st Pct for almost 20 years. Served us very well but we had my ds turn it down since it has changed very much. Thank you again and you made me even more excited for our trip in almost 3 weeks!

Wow! This is something fully new that I wasnt aware of that was offered. Does it run all day and night? My dh is go,fing on the first day and maybe we will take a ride once he is back, showered and dressed. Thank you so much!

Hi. Leaving on Joy on August 13, cannot wait! I know we can arrive any time staying in the Haven, but I do want to still do online check in and try to get the earliest time available. Reading that online check in opens for all (or Haven) at 21 days, what time of day does it open? Midnight? Has anyone been on the Joy recently and can tell me what was the earliest they were able to get off the ship when it docked back in the city? We live in driving distance and thinking we are going to have someone pick us up or car service and want to be off as early as we can. Thank you.
