It's Geoffrey from Toys R Us!! I have my childhood back!!

I was on the Radiance of the Seas in 2013, for an Australian cruise. Had the exact same problems. It was a constant thing.

I always seem to forget a thin fleece jacket. I freeze easily. ;(

Toddlers are not eligible for the Adventure Ocean program, but many of the ships now have a Royal Babies and Royal Tots Nursery. You have to sign up for each time you bring your child, and you pay extra, but it is a wonderful program and worth the money imo. Here is a flyer with info from a cruise two years ago that gives more details.
In addition to the nursery - which is run very well, there is a free play area set up every day with age appropriate toys. Your little one will have to be accompanied by you or another adult; the staff only comes in to check about once an hour.
They also have a toy lending program, so you don't have to pack lots of toys for your cabin.
Thank you for this info. We will be on Anthem next year and this comes in handy!

Usually the ships are chilly indoors. I'm always cold, so I usually walk around with a fleece on.

Hi!
Did a search, came up with nothing. Booked 9174 on Anthem, balcony with no sofa bed to accommodate pack n play. Any pics of what the space looks like?

YAY!! IT'S not too expensive. I gather once people start waking up..it'll get much busier. Couldn't snag a GS..too much money..almost 10k!!
Happy with my balcony. July can't come fast enough.
-
Calling would be best. I just called this morning and got us booked for July 2016 9 night. Good luck!
-
I'm sure they're all doing the same. It's crazy out there. I hope I get one. Thanks, I'm such an over planner.
-
I think I'm losing it. I'm so desperate for a cruise that I just sat die and mapped out all the GS on Anthem and when the bookings for 2016 come out, I'll make my reservations. I really need a cruise this year...
-
We played the game and were never fed any answers.
-
Would LOVE to do an OS..can't swing that just yet.
-
Yep. Every cruise we have been on.

Hey good people!
If the summer 2016 itineraries ever come out for the NYC area, Anthem may be on our list. Now that being said, thinking about a suite. We'd have to have a crib for the little guy. What suite would you recommend that would give us room for a crib and a hubby who dislikes using drawers and prefers to live out of suitcase? I know...too much for a woman to live with..lol. [emoji33]
I'm thinking a Grand Suite. Not interested in a jr. Suite

I'm assuming if we booked an Anthem grand suite, we'd get something like this? Hmmm...need to do more research as we would be using a pack and play and that glass table would be a problem.
-
That's great info. Thank you for heads up!

I use "hubby" and "the girl." On one trip report I did' date=' a couple of years ago, somebody was complaining about calling my daughter "the girl." Somebody who met my daughter on a cruise posted that both my hubby and I would call her "the girl," as in "we'll check with the girl if she wants to see the show..." etc. and that this guy should just mind his own business.[/quote']
That's funny. My father calls me 'girl' and I'm 42!

On our honeymoon on the Carnival miracle we had aft cabin 7347 and it was hot as heck out there. No real breeze...but it also depended on the day.
-
Steam them in the shower.

I always wear mine, even when swimming. Think I would have a heart attack if I took them off and forgot where I put them. Well..they can always go in the safez
