Anyone sailing on Serenity?  Haven't see a post about it trips in long time?

Smithsonian  has the Serenity episode on now -

They not directly make money for the cruise ship but they bring passengers on board that wouldn't come otherwise.

Anchorage is a "real" city and you want to take day trip from there to other local areas and tours. 

Marine Traffic also has no destination for Symphony - they probably use the same source

Although I'm nor teally a gamble (haven't been in casino on board for years - I think ti would be a mistake for only 1 of the ships to have one.  People would take a trip on Serenity and gamble and then book on Symphony not realizing there was no casino - would lead to bad feelings, etc.

I think they should have on both although it wouldn't stop me from cruising.

Looking at the Marine Traffic web site - seems as if there are a lot of ships going through the red sea to /from Cairo.   I'm fairly sure none are passenger ships but there is a lot of traffic with no reported incidents or violence that I've heard about. 

I wouldn't go through as a passenger at the moment but looks as if ship might be OK doing that trip.

And if they hire her - she will drive them to bankruptcy and Crystal can buy 2 of the Explorer ships.😆

Got it and remember but wondering why one of the questions was would you not do Crystal if no Casino's - reconsidering maybe??  Or delaying maybe for a couple of years.

Today I got a survey - do I want casino on the ships and would I not sail, etc. if there weren't one.

Thought ti casino issue was settled but I guess not

Do you know or they say what enhanced means?   Does it go 10 times faster or??

I agree that charging for this type of thing doesn't seem premium cruise line to me.

Somehow the discussion of Big Mac on a Crystal board seems a little weird compared to all the great food discussed and shown.

I remember when the Big Mac came out - the ad was a Big Mac, large fries and a large soda and change back from your 1 dollar.

Is there a place on the web site where the same information is posted?    Would allow to see the ones between weekly emails.

There is a bit in today's NY Times weekly history quiz that there was a real effort to prevent Louis Armstrong from recording "what a wonderful life"  - would Crystal be able to sail if that song didn't exist?

It interesting to me that until this thread in the last day I don't remember hearing anything about Churrrascaria not on the NC.  Don't think it was a major piece of everyone's experience but a lot liked it.

One thing you need to remember on Crystal is if you want something you don't see ask.  The crew wants to say yes and get you what you want.  They might not always be able but they want to and will do what they can to get it for you - so ASK

Royal Viking - my parents used to sail on that line before they switched to Crystal when it was launched.  Don't know if it was crew or ?  but Crystal was supposed to be built on Royal Viking with improvements.   I searched the web for Royal Viking - I found that a couple of their ships are still sailing - talk about old vessels.

Hope if Alaska they do some further north ports.  Did those in 2019 cruise from Tokyo and they were great stops. Not as touristy as some Alaska has gotten

Sounds good to me.  Some will love it and some won't but that is true for all.
