  1. Maybe because Ive stayed in the PH suites right across from the lounge. But like I said, Im not a huge drinker, so buying one here or there was much less than the Plus package. I would grab a can or two and take them with me and just ask for a glass of ice wherever I was. Worked for me, might not for others
  2. I’m not a huge drinker but do like my soda. If I’m in a suite in Royal Class ships, I don’t get the Plus because I can grab from the lounge
  3. And ship with Enclave, the thermal suite is not included.
  4. I’m a bariatric patient and never finish a meal. I always hate going to restaurants for that same reason…did you not like it? Do you want something different? I know they are tying to be nice but I hate having to repeat myself all the time lol.
  5. I’m booked on the TA that was scheduled for Oct 20. I just got notice it is now leaving out of Barcelona instead of Southampton and leaving the 22nd, shortening it by 2 nights. Think I might just move to the Nov Sun TA. Same letter but I’m a regular booking.
  6. The PVP that posted orginally on FB, posted a correction after the official release came out.
  7. No need. They were merged. Thanks for posting the official release
  8. You need to read the footnote and understand the difference between Thermal Suite and Enclave
  9. Just saw this posted on FB by a PVP.. Didnt see it posted anywhere NEW - NEW - NEW Dining Room Reservations: Changes are coming to the Dining Room operations onboard. Princess will designate separate dining rooms aboard every ship in the fleet to the three table service options: -one dedicated to traditional dining offering an early and a late seating every evening - one offering reserve able dining times and -a third with open seating to support walk-ins anytime. The three table service options integrate with the line’s unparalleled OceanNow, which provides guests the convenience of ordering anything, anytime, and receiving it anywhere onboard, making Princess uniquely positioned to accommodate all guest dining preferences. The new approach will launch on Princess voyages departing September 1, 2024 and beyond. To support these changes and the transition to the new system, main dining reservations that already have been made for voyages sailing September 1 and beyond for any ship except Sun Princess will be cancelled. Starting June (Date TBD), booked guests will be able to use the app ahead of their voyage to opt for traditional seating in a dedicated dining room with the same waiter, same table and same time each night, or flexible dining, allowing them to enjoy dinner at any available time and table size of their choosing in either the Reserve able or Open Seating dining rooms. This change does not affect guests booked in specialty dining restaurants or suite or reserve collection accommodations, who enjoy a dedicated dining room on Princess ships, where no reservations are required. All reactions: 11
  10. I apololgize, should have been more clear.. I was referring to paying the cruise fare, not excursions or extras.
  11. Yes you can, just take this into account, If you need to cancel for any reason, refunds will be in gift cards as well.
  12. It has a footnote noted.. 2 They are referring to the Thermal suite, not Enclave.. but maybe they will decide to change it.
  13. Aw, the joys of the PH suites on the Royal Class ships where the lounge was right outside your door! Always stopped in at night before getting back to the cabin and Im just not a big drinker.
  14. They aren't exactly correct. The Royal Class Ships and the Sun have the Enclave, that is not included. I have heard it can be but as a rule, its not. The Grand ships do include the thermal spa with suites, but they do not have the Enclave
  15. With the concierge lounge, you can get a lot of free drinks, soda, etc. When in a suite, I never get the Plus
  16. Not a deal breaker but certainlly disappointing
  17. Havent used the lounge but the concierge was able to book the sanctuary for me when I boarded. That was on the Sky
  18. I havent been able to find the answer to this, so if anyone knows.... In the deck 9 reserve cabanas, does anyone know if you can lock the sliders from the outside and then unlock and access through the deck?
  19. True, but if the 12yo old wants to try the kids club, its a great place for mom to enjoy
  20. Thank you. I had pretty much taken Sky was last choice also due to going to Port Canaveral since I live 20 minutes from Port Everglades. Great advice
  21. Im in the process of booking my first TA in the Fall of 2025. I have three choices (im Platinum on Princess) Sky Princess (Nov) - SHampton, - Portland, Cherbourg, Vigo, Azores, Bermuda- Port Canaveral Sun Princess (Nov) Barcelona - Malaga, Gilbratar, Seville, Tenerife- Port Everglades Star Princess (Oct) SHampton- Portland,Vigo, madeira, Tenerfie, Port Everglades Looking for any advice on itineraries. Are they interchangeable? Is the voyage itself impacted by the itinerary? Some info 1- Im from South Florida, so no worry about where it disembarks 2- Ive been to London and Barcelona, so siteseeing isnt a requirement 3- Its usually easier to get direct flights and cheaper to London over Barcelona 4- That said, London requires tranport to Southampton, Barcelona easier access to pier 5- Been on Sky, Will be on Sun in Jan for Carribbean. Star debuts in Aug, is it to close to risk? 5- Grew up a boater, do not get seasick and rough seas are never an issue for me I might be overthinking all of this, but any advice is really really welcome. This is a solo trip for me and Im really excited. So I guess it comes down to differences in the actual voyage.
  22. Ive successfully refared a Sky TA in Nov 2025 3 times this week. The price keeps going down. just call Princess. Each call took all of a few minutes. I have another cruise booked in Jan '25 booked with a $400 OBC. that fare also went down but doesn't include the OBC so I left that one as is.
  23. I live in Broward so really doesn’t apply but good for them for offering something new and options for people.
  24. It’s all relative. I live in Florida and I am completely gobsmacked with the amount of money people willingly , repeatedly pay, at Disney. We all have our own definition of worth it.
