  1. Just off Vista and this is exactly how it worked...same as in the past as you have stated..
  2. That is correct -nothing has changed after SM, both people do not need to upgrade
  3. We just disembarked from Vista today after being onboard since the 29SEP and both people did not need to upgrade....I believe you should have your TA call back and get a different supervisor. In the past under OLife, both people had to pick the same perk so if you chose the beverage package, then both people had to take the beverage package.

As I understand it is a "quiet" sale and is not reflected on the websites - you can either contact your TA or O and ask about the "value promo"....it is on sailings that are not selling but some great deals

Be sure and get on the waitlist for the excursion.....we were waitlisted for 3 of our excursions and all 3 cleared.
  6. The art classes are free - only the culinary classes have a fee (to cover the cost of the materials provided). The IT classes held in the Internet room are also free but require signing up.
  7. Yes - they have an open house the first day or two and you sign up then......several of the classes are multi day . Space is limited so need to sign up.

When on the Oceania website, did you check "no air" for the correct pricing on Simply More with no air?

I bet if you check you also will have beverage package under amenities....the "online" agency just used a different name but you have Simply More
  12. There are only 2 specialty restaurants instead of 4, Baristas is much smaller and in the area outside of the GDR, the bathrooms in the verandah, outside and inside rooms are much smaller but it has the most beautiful library, a very cozy atmosphere and you are sailing with 1/2 the number of people so you get to know fellow passengers and crew much easier.
  13. Prime rib is now available in the GDR on several different nights and even had it in Terrace one night....also had to go to Ember for my crab cake....
  14. WIFI has been free on O for many years. On all sailings after 01OCT 23, each stateroom has 2 free accounts.

When did you book this cruise - before or after 01OCT 23? If booked before 01OCT 23, you then still had the option of booking "cruise only". 2 WIFI accounts per room are included for all fares on sailings after 01OCT 23.
  16. As I indicted, they do musical trivia in Martinis in the evening....different from afternoon Trivia
  17. And if your CD is Ray Carr - you will find yourself booted out of Trivia if you bring out those electronic devices...your fellow trivia players will rat on you and Ray will not have any empathy...seen it happen
  18. Waves and Aquamar are open to the outside so there is no air conditioning but large fans and windows that open. They will always be the same temperature as the outside air. Terrace has the outer deck with the doors that are opening often. We found if you were in a table near the doors and around the serving stations (which are by the doors) were warmer but not uncomfortable. If you choose a table away from the doors, it was cooler. Our cabin is on Deck 12 and the halls and waiting areas around the forward stairs and elevators are warm - again a situation caused by the doors opening out to the pool deck which are opening constantly. The more common complaint we are hearing is that the public areas are too cool...
  19. Yes - currently Ray Carr (CD) leads trivia at 4:30 most days.....there also has been a musical Trivia in Martinis in the evenings.
  20. I don't drink hard spirits so not aware of how to accurately portray the "new" additives (is that better?) that are listed on the menus as "non alcoholic" gin, vodka, whiskey, wine, beer, etc....

Thanks - I know that and wanted to make sure people knew if they has a plug with the ground, it would work in the plugs available

They can not have any kind of surge protection...just a plain power strip with additional outlets...

We did bring with us an approved power strip that is plugged into one of the 110 outlets by the desk to make it easier to plug multiple devices in...,the provided power outlets by the desk are to the left side where the phone and makeup mirror sit so not a lot of desk top space for devices in front of the outlets.

I sailed with Lyn and will be handing the beautiful Vista off to you in a week...by the bed on each side, there is 1 USB outlet and 1 USB C outlet, 1 US 3 prong ( 2 vertical and 1 round - neutral) outlet. By the desk, there are 2 USB outlets, 2 USB C outlets, 2 US 3 prong outlets and 1 European (3 round prongs in a row). Hope this answers the question.
