I would suggest looking for hotels in Emeryville around the Amtrak Station, 'bout 15 minute drive north of OAK. Usual chains: Holiday Inn, Hilton, Marriott. Check to see if they still have courtesy shuttles to OAK. IMO the immediate area around OAK is industrial, so not much to do or eat at. In Emeryville, there's the Public Market, an indoor-night-market food court. Before eating wander between the vendor stalls to see what's cooking. Nearby is a Black Bear Diner and Denny's. 1) Pre-Covid, if you booked your (cruise) air through Disney and the flight is delayed, Disney will try to make arrangements to have you catch up. Y? most likely a busload of other folks on that flight is also on your cruise. 2) If you do end up flying to the Cayman's, EVERYONE must have a passport.
