  1. We also have the bedding and love it but have you noticed that the duvet cover is much larger and seems to have different dimensions than the duvet?
  2. We go back and forth between Celebrity and Princess and find the length of the cruise determines the demographic more than anything else.
  3. As I previously stated, we sailed on the Caribbean Princess this last January . Was our first experience with the Medallion. Having things delivered wherever we were was nice but the best part was being able to locate everyone in our party wherever they were on the ship whenever we wanted. My App also stopped working but a quick trip to Guest Services fixed it. I was totally expecting to NOT like the Medallion but came away as a definite fan. Is it the best part of Princess? No. That will always be the crew. But it's a nice feature.
  4. I'm not traveling solo. Both my husband and myself are Elite+ and both of us are booked with the All Inclusive (Gratuities, WiFi and Drinks). I seem to remember other people saying they went to the I Lounge and the tech set them up to somehow use their Elite Premium minutes separately from their package minutes. I was hoping to avoid the line at the I Lounge but I'll just try that.
  5. I know that. I was just commenting on "What change would you tolerate?" There were many years between then and the institution of the coffee card where we paid for the cappuccinos and still cruised.
  6. Interesting question. We've been cruising a long time. I remember years ago when Princess started charging for cappuccino. I usually have one every evening with my dessert. I was livid and said that unless they reinstituted the gratis cappuccino we would never sail Princess again. Well............. here we are about 30 years more or less later and still sailing............. ☺️
  7. Thank you!!! That's what I was hoping!
  8. So I set up two different accounts and two different logins ? Will they allow that for one person?
  9. You say you are sailing with 14 people. You have missed the very best part of the Medallion for your cruise. If all of you agree to list the others as part of your group (Sorry, we did this for our cruise last January but I can't remember exactly what it was called) then you can easily see where any of the others are on the ship in case you want to meet up. In the past we relied on post it notes on the cabin door (which also required going back to the cabin). Being able to see where everyone was , was INVALUABLE!!!
  10. Bumping in hopes of an answer. As I said, we have significant $$$ that will expire relatively soon if the info I found is wrong. Thanks in advance.
  11. We are Elite+ and also have the package that includes unlimited basic WiFi. We get 240 minutes of Premium for being Elite+. How do we differentiate which we are using? (I want to mostly use my unlimited package but use the 240 minutes when better reception is needed). Do I need to go to the IT lounge to set up in this case?
  12. So, I did a search and came up with these two posts. Hoping this info is still accurate as we have significant $$$ from cancelled cruises in FCCs.
  13. I just want to verify that as of this last June the expiration policy on the cash portion of any cancelled cruise under the old "cancel before you cruise" policy has changed to it no longer has an expiration date. I'm saying - any money we paid (not any bonuses) will be good for ANY future cruise - even beyond a year from sail date. Correct?
  14. A company called Jilzarah makes key chain bracelets that you can attach your Medallion (in it's plastic holder) to. That's we we did. They come in regular and small sizes (for smaller wrists) and lots of colors and are also available on Amazon. I got the idea from a thread on here last year so am passing it on. https://jilzarah.com/collections/keychains https://www.amazon.com/JILZARAH-Wrist-Keychain-Nautical-Blue/dp/B096T7QY73/ref=asc_df_B096T7QY73/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=570192966175&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9460287528901433439&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1016367&hvtargid=pla-1596224187344&th=1
  15. You can get small bottles of Pellegrino with the Plus package.
  16. Balcony cabin layout. There is a small glass table usually tucked into the corner next to the cabinet with the TV. (Although that extra chair is now gone) Lots of pictures and videos of various cabin layouts. https://www.cruisemapper.com/cabins/Royal-Princess-650
  17. Rather than no table at all, the above picture is what I think is on all smaller balconies. The larger, dining size table would take up too much space.
  18. That was a mini suite on Dolphin deck but this one is from a Caribe Balcony on the Emerald in Feb. of 2020. (if you're sensing a theme you'd be correct.)
  19. Since when is there no table on the balcony? We last sailed this past January and I'm sure we had a table.
  20. Denali2003 Your answers are in the posts I quoted above. And there is no longer any Traditional Dining. It's now all called "Dine Your Way" - which is Anytime rebranded. I have been able to book the same table, same time (which will hopefully translate to a traditional experience) through the Medallion app for 2 upcoming cruises but many, many others have not been able to do that.
  21. I think the patisserie on the Island used to be where Good Spirits is now. I think someone said there is a small case for baked goods still on the Good Spirits counter but that he checked early one morning and the case was empty. Maybe they put pastries in there during the day.
  22. Zeroing out the count is a US requirement. (Along with some other countries) It's nice not losing those couple of hours we always have to wait for the one couple they can't find. 😄
