i also wondered this. I had a silly thought - if you CAN get a meal from the MDR then this becomes a new specialty restaurant. "HAVE DINNER ON YOUR OWN PRIVATE BALCONY FOR ONLY $9.95 + service fee" *

We solved that problem - bring them with you! 🤣

I don't remember the beach on Nevis being all that great. We were next to a really nice resort and we walked over to walk around there. However, there were some really interesting places they took us to on the Island before we went to the beach.

There is a gentleman named Thenford Gray who does wonderful tours of St. Kitts. We toured the island with him several times and the last time we did his Nevis tour. Try that - it was great! http://www.thenfordgreytours.com/

We took our daughter and granddaughters on a short (7 day) cruise in Jan of 22. i thought it would be a good opportunity to try CC. In general we don't like the mini suites in the middle of the ships (which is where CC is located) because of the uncovered balconies but we thought 7 days might be a good test. I recently asked our 7 year old granddaughter what her favorite part of the cruise was and she said "Making my own Caesar salad with the Maitre D'". She would never have had that opportunity had we not booked CC. So you never know what little extra touch may make your cruise special. (Still don't like those uncovered balconies, though.) *

Tableside service. They used to make Caesar Salad and some desserts right next to your table.

I was thinking that they've hired a psychology student and empathetically listening was her practice test. (Not a joke - I really wonder if that's it. She knows she can't change anything but still has to make the caller feel "heard".)

Is this for the first one or the second? We don't eat lobster so this doesn't affect us personally but that's highway robbery!

So Jim, with hints of charging for a second entree, do you think you might lose that option in the future?

So, I just spent 45 minutes on the phone with Captain's Club. She checked my reservation and supposedly fixed it and sent me another email confirming the upgrade. Just checked my boarding pass on the app. Still says CALL. 🤣

Make sure you speak with a manager , the poor waiters don't really know anything.
