  1. Celebrity will need to add an onboard therapist(s). I am going to need it.
  2. I have enjoyed it for lunch on several occasions during our recent Constellation TA. Never thought to go there for dinner. Ruth, it looks like OVC will become even quieter in the future.
  3. We have yet to eat at the OVC for dinner however me met someone on board Constellation during the TA sailing and she at her dinner exclusively at the OVC. She will be in for a disappointment.
  4. Yes, you are correct. I mentioned the FVs because they are adjacent to the forward facing outside cabins and I have had chances to see (glance) the insides of those cabins. I posted the photo to show my definition of a dinette table and chairs. I never saw those in any forward facing OV cabin. Also, now that I think of it, I believe the Silhouette has been Revolutionized so the cabin furnishings may be very different now.
  5. Your link did not work. Please try it again. For you, I hope I am wrong about the non-existence of the table. Judging from the FVs that we have been in and photos I have seen, I will say that the FVs were furnished better with each new successive S class ship. In fact Solstice/Equinox were the least furnished, Eclipse was fairly furnished, and Silhouette/Reflection were well furnished. So maybe the adjacent forward facing cabins follow the same pattern.
  6. We have been in FV 8107/8108 on Eclipse (3x), Solstice (2x), and Reflection. I have had numerous chances to glance into those forward facing cabins and have never seen them furnished with a dinette table and chairs like we had in the Eclipse/Reflection FVs (photo). Reflection 8107, Jan 2019
  7. During the last evening chic night of our Constellation TA cruise in November, our MDR waiter brought an extra lobster tail for everyone at our table that ordered a lobster tail. None of us asked for it (in fact I forgot to ask because I was out of practice from not having cruised since the start of the pandemic), but we gladly accepted it. It was a pleasant surprise and I presumed it to be a shrewd move by our experienced waiter since we all would be receiving our cruise surveys in a couple of days. I guess I won't be seeing that anymore.
  8. We have been getting the Blue Chip offer thru email. The code is in the email. How did you receive your offer?
  9. You should have two USA outlets and two European outlets located by the desk. There are no outlets in the bathroom anymore.
  10. Ugh. It's starting to get depressing from reading this forum.
  11. There did not appear to be any mahjong sets in the library (Deck 8) where the board games are kept during our Constellation TA cruise back in Oct/Nov.
  12. BTW, I do wish that Celebrity would just honor the mis-pricing or provide a more generous settlement. After all they are going to get it back through room service charges, reduced MDR food quality to encourage customers to eat at specialty restaurants, no-show charges, etc etc.
  13. I wasn't saying your definition is wrong. I am saying that it appeared to be an error for a couple of people that were affected. So it can be recognized and certainly not something we can all agree on.
  14. All I am saying is that two of the affected parties realized that the pricing was an error. This is in response to "how can I tell if it is an error" and not an attempt to define it (because you can't) or settle it.
  15. I had posted this in the now-removed thread, but it bears repeating here. Although there is no universal definition on what constitutes a pricing mistake, in all fairness to Celebrity, the recent Silhouette pricing controversy was interpreted to be an error by at least two different Cruise Critic members.
  16. Thank you so much for posting your review and thoughts. It looks like you had a great time.
  17. It looks like Constellation is underway.
  18. Good question. Our Horizon cruise delayed its departure on embarkation day (Mar 2005) at Tampa due to fog. We ended up overnighting there and leaving the next morning. As a result we lost our first stop (Grand Cayman). We received a refund on the port fees and that was it. It is different than this situation because at least we got on the ship on time.
  19. I agree. Hopefully Celebrity will restart the Connection gatherings soon. And hopefully there won't be an extra charge to attend.
  20. Have an awesome cruise! BTW, sorry about your Buckeyes. I thought they were going to pull it out.
  21. I totally understand. I was the only one in my family that got up as Infinity sailed thru Glacier Alley. However it was the only time during the cruise that we saw glaciers that close to the ship. If you are hoping to see it from the comfort of your cabin, you need to be on the port (left) side or in an aft balcony cabin. Holanda Glacier, Dec 31 2016
  22. No one on Cruise Critic seemed happy when LLP was running the company anyway.
