  1. Prime indicates a better location--for M and S class it usually means a higher deck. I do not believe there are Prime Inside cabin categories on E class.
  2. You should call Celebrity to make the booking. They will take care of it.
  3. I would make 2 separate bookings--one for each cabin--to fully use the OBC. The actual group assignments are not handed out until the day of the tour and it is done in person when you show up at the rendezvous point. There you can ensure that your family of 4 are assigned to the same group and are wearing the same Celebrity sticker number.
  4. I never got to meet Lori personally. I did work a lot with Lori and Non. Your right, they were both just great.
  5. Thanks for pointing this out. I have a sailing booked for 2023, 2024, and 2025. Surprisingly, there is a "limited time" 35% discount across the board for all shore excursions for all 3 sailings. No such boosted savings for dining packages. There is a 33% boosted discount applied for upgrading to premium wifi for our 2023 Asia sailing.
  6. Yes, it was. Lori Frese (or Cunningham for the longest time), God rest her soul. After she unexpectedly passed, her relatively new husband took over the business and promptly let her small staff go (or they left) and the excellent customer service went along with it (only to be replaced by bad service--not just average service, but really bad service). My understanding is that the business name was sold and it is now run out of Michigan. A very sad ending for a multigenerational family run business. I understand that Celebrity fielded a lot of complaints about that company and had to accommodate many request to transfer bookings to a new TA like mine. Did you have to do the same?
  7. In 2018 the owner of the travel agency that I did business with passed away and the customer service promptly went down hill when her husband attempted to run it (didn't return phone calls, emails, almost missed final payment, etc). I sent an email to agencychanges@rccl.com to have my 2019 Reflection cruise transferred away from that travel agency to a different TA. I explained the situation in my email. I received a computer acknowledgement email and then 8 days later my booking was moved over--like magic. All my perks associated with the booking moved over except for the OBC that the original TA was going to give me.
  8. Here are the Celebrity Todays for five consecutive At Sea days during our Constellation TA (there were 9 sea days in all): Day 8 Oct 29 2022 Constellation Celebrity Today Day 9 Oct 30 2022 Constellation Celebrity Today Day 10 Oct 31 2022 Constellation Celebrity Today Day 11 Nov 1 2022 Constellation Celebrity Today Day 12 Nov 2 2022 Constellation Celebrity Today
  9. I have a few from our Oct/Nov 2022 Constellation TA but I have yet to scan them. I will see if I can take a few photos for you and post them here.
  10. Nice. Be sure to add your information to the "Move Up Offer Tracker" sticky on this forum.
  11. Nothing new released for Europe yet.....
  12. Thank you. Yes, my iPhone functioned in Japan as well as it does in the USA. All my apps worked fine--especially the Pokemon Go app.
  13. I agree with the prior post. Replying (like I did here) or tagging (@blade3) are your best available tools.
  14. Thank you again for your feedback. It was enough to motivate me to book an overnight NYE cruise aboard the Stellar of the Seas. Their check in time at Tuan Chua marina is noon which is compatible with our 10 am scheduled docking time. And they will return us back to the marina at noon the following day leaving us plenty of time to get on board before Solstice leaves at her scheduled time of 5pm. The only risk I am taking is that if Celebrity decides to alter the itinerary by giving up on Hong Kong, it may well affect our scheduled stop at Halong Bay.
  15. There is also a very informative Live thread that was posted for the Nov 11 Constellation 10 night Eastern Caribbean sailing out of Tampa by Tee & Chili:
  16. I did post a "Live from Constellation" thread last month detailing the 15 nights we spent on Constellation crossing the Atlantic from Rome to Tampa. Several people on our roll call posted their experiences as well--like how the bottles of body wash, etc were so tiny. She is a great classically designed ship with an awesome crew.
  17. I think your kids will be just fine! We have taken our two kids on Celebrity cruises since they were 7 mo old (son) and 3 yrs old (daughter) in 1996. They have been on a total of 14 Celebrity cruises--many when the ships were brand new like Apex. They absolutely loved the kids club which was branded as the Fun Factory, now Camp at Sea. Many of their scheduled activities took them out of the Fun Factory itself. Last month we took our first cruise without the kids--it was a 15 night Transatlantic cruise on Constellation. Our cruise had only eight kids under 18 years old on board. Here is a photo I took of the kids program that was scheduled for them:
  18. We are hoping our Singapore to Hong Kong cruise during Christmas 2023 happens.....
  19. I'm ok with it, too, but I really wanted to see Hong Kong. On the other hand I would rather get our thrice cancelled cruise finally done.
  20. No experience there. My personal iPhone is set up for WiFi calling, but I don't think I ever used it during my trip. I would have fully expect it to work though if I had needed it.
  21. Thank you for the information. If it is not inconvenient to give me more information from your diaries, I would appreciate it. I have not found much on it at all during web searches.
