  1. Enjoying seeing all those except for sting rays. They are all entertaining. Favourite are the big albatross and little birds which land on the deck.
  2. My longest sea days were Atlantic from memory. Get out the games and jigsaw puzzles!
  3. I have followed bloggers on world cruises for years. On current world cruise a guy from Alaska who blogs was taken off the ship in Mauritius. He takes great photos and writes an interesting non commercial blog. Feels like family.
  4. 9 sea days too many for me. Of course if there was something to see along a coastline that would be different. Loved cruise from Singapore to Sydney
  5. P&O Uk is better than P&O Aust. From my research.
  6. I spent a wonderful day in Lombok. Got a driver outside the gate (not inside). He took us everywhere we wanted to go plus extra
  7. Thanks good size for me. LI don’t mind the vintage but I mind leaks and blocked toilets. My first trip overseas was Queen Frederica over.and P&O Chusan back I don’t recall their age being a problem. Both were world tours. Both were four bunks with strangers. Both had big bathrooms. Both Fabulous cruises set the benchmark for all future cruises.
  8. Disappointing. I’m doing more land travel. Just been to Canberra now going to Caloundra. might do another land travel to NZ. The beauty of being retired if a small medium ship comes along I’m ready at short notice
  9. Yes I always have a new bottle of water getting cold whilst I’m drinking the other. I have always taken ginger cordial with no trouble. This time on Luminosa it was confiscated. Got it back before Willis Is (stops sea sickness). But didn’t have to open it!
  10. 14 night NZ could be of interest depending on size of ship. Celebrity NZ cruise was wonderful.
  11. I wondered if the ships were causing damage to the shoreline. Main Beach GC looses its beaches following high seas. I have even seen Narrowneck break through by rough seas.
  12. I don’t think the big ships suit our smaller ports nor the South Pacific islands. Please send us your old well maintained small ships to explore our region.’
  13. Passengers put tents up on Hurtigruten and the Alaskan Ferry. You might start a new trend.
  14. A holiday in Singapore prior to cruise is what makes it attractive to me. It is too long !! Others could have a holiday in Brisbane or the SEQld region at the end of the cruise.
  15. Love that cruise along Queensland Coast from Singapore. Does it stop in Darwin? What date?
