  1. Interesting aside. Over 700 people have looked at this but only 23 have actually voted. Doesn’t that seems a little low for a simple question? Granted some likely havent cruised on the E-class, myself included, but still seems low. Just a curious observation on my part.

Very nice presentation!  Thanks for posting it.

We enjoy the IGLUs (non-alcohol). I enjoy Tea Forte (use it at home).  Tried the White Ginger Pear (over ice) last week on ASCENT..very refreshing!

My husb drinks the double espresso;  We both enjoy the biscotti...and some of the tasty mini treats!

Neither of us are fans of Lavazza Coffee..no matter what is done to make it less bitter, it remains bitter...others will disagree!

Ok…this is not fair. 24 days still to we cruise again and you are making me jealous! 😉

We are not foodies or wine connoisseurs, we just enjoy good food and a nice glass of wine or good cocktail.  We like a relaxed vibe and don't need to be moving at a lightening pace all day and night, which is why we feel cruising with Celebrity is a good fit for us.  The ability to do as much or as little as you want is our preference.

This is us and why we sail with Celebrity too. Early 40’s, not looking for a constant party. Enjoy food and relaxing.

  4. Wow…we got engaged at sunrise on the beach in Miami the morning we boarded Reflection for the first time (Matt doesn’t like to be the center of attention and I wanted to celebrate the entire cruise). Nothing special for us…and I still love Celebrity. Four weeks from now we will be about to leave for the Ascent to celebrate our 40th birthdays (birthdays are two days apart)!

I can believe it. Our first cruise was in 1991. Didn't hear or know anything about CC until 2001(10 years  later) when I accidently fat fingered a google search.

In fairness though, it wasnt founded until 1995 as a feature of AOL and certainly would have taken sometime to really build into something.

  6. Kid counts onboard the ships varies depending on the school calendar. When school is in session you might have 30 kids onboard total. When school is on break several hundred are likely to be onboard. Pluses and minuses to both. On the plus side with lower kid counts is more individualized experiences for the kids as the program can be more easily tailored to them. During the high season programs will be able to fully run with plenty of kids to join in. A few years ago the standard was that however many kids are onboard, about half would show up in the kids program. Youth staff are the best and really care as much about creating a fun experience for kids as anyone else on the ship for the rest of the guests.

(Jeremy needn’t be jealous…how shall I put this…these men were wearing pastel Versace, were talking about how they scored tickets for the Eros Tour and had better hip moves on the dance floor than I do…I was at zero risk of any improper advances) bad!

The “fancy gentlemen” always throw the best parties! Enjoying your review. 5 weeks til we sail on Ascent  and this helps pass the days!
