  1. I’m not sure that the drinks part is correct. It is $17 limit but most of the drinks at world class and almost all of the martini bar drinks are covered based on menus from folks sailing recently. The one challenge has apparently been wine so maybe that could be what you are referring to. Other than that I probably cant add much, Celebrity is our favorite. We will be on the Ascent in a few weeks so let me know if you have any questions.

  2. Any Celebrity cruisers been to Palms Court Gardens on St. Kitts? We are there on Ascent along with two other ship but we arrive first. Just wondering what it has been like recently.

Constant thoughts being “Crew” don’t pay an admission fee and it’s a short distance from ship.

Therefore, very, very popular with (no pay) Crew and Pax walkers (no need for a cab).

More ships in port equates to more Crew and more walkers of the Pax variety.

If this is the potential vibe one wishes, then go ahead and book.

Crew doesn’t bother me. I used to work for Celebrity as a crew member and we are the first ship to arrive that morning.

We did a 14 day Southern Carribean cruise during Spring Break and there were few if any kids.  I think a lot of it has to do with the length of the cruise.

That is true. I should have been more clear. Cruises that match with spring break so 7 days or less will have more kids and the longer the cruise the fewer the kids. That is actually a year round occurrence. Also the farther from the US the few the kids though summer in Europe can have more.

Hi, Can you tell me about your experiences with April vacation? I'm hoping there will be enough kids for my 9 and 14 year old to play with in the kids clubs. Thank you

March and April cruises, at least back, then would typically jump from under 30 to a couple hundred kids onboard. If it is their Spring Break I would expect that to be true still.

House band sounds good. I'm upstairs away from the crowds but I like what I hear. I think it just switched to a DJ playing music but the band sounded good.

I'm used to closer to 4 but whenever we push off is fine longer before I burn my free internet minutes 😆

I am following too many cruises out of Port Everglades. Ascent left at 3:30pm

  7. How soon depends but typically they do it pretty quickly. I booked a veranda gty for our cruise on Ascent and our last cruise on Reflection. Both were assigned within a few weeks of booking and long before sailing. The downside is you dont get to pick location, but even that is not so bad. Our gty for ascent was in the front near the theater and I got it moved to the back in the same category.
