Yeah, but I have looked into pricing--they charge a lot! Have already decided I will try and handle the lawn part. We will see how that goes, lol.

We broke down this year and now have a snow-clearing service for the driveway. They don't do the walkway, but that's fine, we don't mind that. The snow was getting to be too much for DH. I helped a bit, but am happier we have the service now. DH doesn't mind lawn mowing and I'm not a real gardener, but I do put baskets of flowers out and have some tulips in the spring.

Mr. Megan may or may not be bribing them with new tablets to get this done. I get too overwhelmed… there’s too many of them. 😆 I’m currently hiding in my room watching “The Voyager” on Mallorca and reading.

    Smart plan. 😁

  3. @MeganGC1983 I used to go through my boys' stuff when they weren't around, because otherwise, everything was important and everything must be kept! We didn't need all their art creations, broken toys, etc. Clothing was easier, because if it didn't fit, it went to a charity. Good luck. 😄

First Happy Birthday to Teach & B!

I’ve been awol for the last 48 hours because I’m down the rabbit hole of selling my house & moving closer to my daughter & son in law that are expecting a baby girl in August.

We are moving into a brand new rental house & I have to give my work notice that I’m retiring at the end of March. We have so much stuff to get rid of and decide what we want to keep. To say I’m overwhelmed is an understatement.

I’m not sure what to do first. I have to find a Medicare plan because my health insurance goes away March 31. Mr. Boh Jang has hoarding tendencies  & doesn’t want to throw anything away.

And to top it all off I have a routine colonoscopy scheduled for this Friday because that was the soonest the Dr could fit it in when I called months ago. (Jokes are welcome). This is not my first rodeo with this & from prior experience I can tell you I think the whole thing feels like the tortures from hell.

Good news is where we are moving is less than an hour drive from Galveston. I will be following up with the Tribe cruise part 2 on Jubilee when I get through with all my pressing issues. Stand by @MeganGC1983

    Happy Weekend to everyone. 😓

Lots happening for you these days! I'm happy for you (well for all but the colonoscopy 😁)

Definitely all on the “to do” list. I guess I’m more thrown off by Marseille and Cannes. I’ve been over reading the port of call boards, but nothing is really doing anything for me. I’d love to see more of the countryside. Ill probably find a train or something like that.

Haven't been to France (yet). A train sounds good.

Ok Tribe I’m starting to research my Barcelona cruise for August. Does anyone have any personal experience or “must do’s” in Barcelona, Cannes, Marseille, Mallorca, or Ibiza? I’d hate to miss something. My birthday is in Mallorca so we will probably do a nice excursion that day. Maybe 1 or 2 other booked excursions. Flying into Barcelona (landing) 2 days early. Should be a nice 10 days in Europe.

I don't know how much time you'll have but some suggestions for Barcelona: go to La Sagrada Familia church and other Gaudi sites if that interests you. Eat tapas, drink Cava and Sangria, go to the Gothic Quarter and wander the alleys, or go to the huge La Boqueria market. We loved Barcelona! 😄

I ended up at urgent care last night after work. I just couldn’t keep going, I’m exhausted and done. They took me back and examined me and determined it’s not a sinus infection, but pneumonia. 😬 I’ve got a bag full of meds to take and am spending today just recouping. It felt good last night to FINALLY get some sleep with the meds they gave me to help with my cough. I’m hoping to rebound and be ready for my cruise with mom in 2 weeks!

Poor you! I'm sorry to hear this and hope that the new meds will do the trick and you'll be feeling better very soon.
