I'll be following. I was on MG in Sept. and had a great time! Sweet potato waffles at Emeril's and drinks and entertainment at Brass Magnolia were among my favourites. Have fun. 😃

@Riles34 we had a 1/2 inch of rain here followed by 5.5 inches of snow, so not as bad as it could have been. Now it's raining again so snow won't last.😀

had to enjoy another gin and tonic with the 60 degrees and sun before this snow storm. 

Same thing here except our storm is supposed to start as rain and switch over to snow at some point so amount is unknown.😠 I'm done with winter.

Quick thoughts - I either ate at a Specialty Restaurant or OSheehans for dinner, all were great.  Buffet was a buffet.  An afternoon of miller lites at the aft bar is my new happy place.   They nailed the update in 2022.  Roulette is better some nights than others.

I'm glad to hear you had a good cruise and were able to get your kids into the program! I'm looking forward to my turn. Would you happen to know which dining room was open for lunch on embarkation day? I figure that would be a good place to meet since my son and his wife don't have the same arrival time as we do and aren't coming to the port with us. Thanks!

We were out last night celebrating my DH's birthday with delicious Indian food. Today we're having ham, asparagus, mashed potatoes, fruit and leftover birthday cake.😋

@SenatorsFan sorry Grenada has been cancelled from your cruise.  I've never been there and it sounds beautiful.  It's so frustrating when they cancel a new to you port but the same ones you have been to many times never seem to get cancelled. Especially when you don't like that port.  Looking at you Belize

Not to rub salt into the wound, but it is a real shame that they dropped Grenada--it's one of my favorite places!!  In 1999, we flew down to Grenada to help my FIL sail his boat from Grenada to St Thomas--we were able to stay for a couple of days before starting our adventure.  Never made it all the way back to St Thomas--we got stuck in Guadalupe due to wrong way Lenny (backwards hurricane).  We then went back to Grenada for a week when my FIL got married.  I was also there in 1986 on a cruise ship stop.  Guess you'll have to book another cruise to make it down there!

I got an email this morning informing us that our Grenada stop on our upcoming Jade cruise has been cancelled. Curacao has now been extended to 8 p.m., which is great, Grenada will become a sea day and the 1/2 hour they took away from us for St. Thomas has been put back. That's fine, we know these things happen, but Grenada was the one port none of the 4 of us had ever been to. 🤣 🙂

@taznremmy re your Dawn cruise: I've never sailed on Dawn but I have sailed other medium-sized NCL ships. I second the suggestion to eat lunch in the dining room on embarkation day. It's a much more relaxed and civilised way to start your cruise. If there's a dining room at the aft with big windows and a view of the wake, I recommend that also. I've enjoyed martinis, mojitos and other cocktails. Espresso martinis cost more than the drink package covers and aren't available at every bar. I haven't been on a ship with Los Lobos but I've enjoyed other specialty dining.
