Thanks - that's good to know. I'm Fwd (just a few rooms ahead of what is considered mid-ship) however many of my friends are in other parts of the ship - I guess we should get together to see where the majority are and go from there if possible. Thanks for the advice :-)

You could get your reservations linked together and that should get you all at the same table. It's always good to double check once you get onboard to make sure the request was granted.

You would need to have a PvP or TA link all the booking numbers together .

Selling One Way Cruises

Cruises cannot be booked on a one way basis.

Since there are just two sea days on that itinerary and the last one falls on the final evening of the cruise,they do the final elegant night on a port day.

It says August 29, not sure if that is 2015 or 2016. I understand you can text your whole group for $5 total to let them know where you are etc. Sure hope it will be on the Triumph.

The only ships with the hub app are

Carnival Breeze, Carnival Freedom, Carnival Glory and Carnival Sunshine.

They had to heavily discount many of them,so that's probably why they didn't offer them on the new schedules.

Is there a place on Carnival's website to see what they have for internet plans. My brother is traveling with us and is a VP at a major hospital and has to keep connected. I just wanted to let him know what they had for plans as I have never used the internet on a cruise. Thanks Linda

In the past 4 years the only hamburgers I have had were on cruise ships.

I eat extremely clean on shore, but go crazy on the ship. ;-)

I do really active shore excursions, so I usually still lose weight on cruises.

No, just on Carnival Breeze, Carnival Freedom, Carnival Glory and Carnival Sunshine.

If you are dealing with experienced tour operators, they will know the exact time the ship will be in port.

I know many ask you to put in ship, saildate, arrival and departure time, but if you give the the date and ship,they will know the rest.

If they don't, I would be hesitant to book with them

So I guess it's no longer on the market to be sold. She will be 26 this year.

My guess ......if Carnival had a buyer they would quickly change gears and sell her. The chances of that happening is very low.

It makes sense to dangle her, just doubt the interest is there.

I'd be surprised if Guy's was installed in the Fantasy. The Elation had a dry dock in October, 2014 and they didn't add Guy's or Blue Iguana. I was hoping they would take the place of the grill and Mongolian wok. I was told on the boards here, there isn't enough room. It would be nice if the Fantasy class would get some of these upgrades.

Warm Chocolate Melting Cake

Recipe from Carnival Cruise Lines

Ingredients:

6 ounces dark chocolate (we were told that Swiss chocolate is best for this recipe but I am using dark chocolate chips in a pinch)

6 ounces butter

4 eggs, at room temperature

1.5 ounces sugar

2 ounces flour

Instructions:

1. Melt the chocolate and butter.

2. Separately, mix the eggs and sugar and whisk for a few minutes before adding the flour.

3. Grease 4 ramekins bowls or molds. Pour the mixture equally amongst the four greased ramekins.

4. Bake at 390 F for 14 minutes.

Serve while warm with ice cream and a fruit garnish.

Serves four.

I would count on the Sports bar. They rarely play college games on the Lido deck. To many non sports fans complained.

They don't show all the college games on the big screen. But the Championship game is shown fleetwide on the lido deck with ships with the big screen.

I also checked publix I heard they were running a special too. Any idea if that is over also?

I just booked a cruise and my deposit was $300. My 9 previous cruises have required a $400 deposit.

They changed the deposit and final payment due date on several cruises last month.
