  1. I called the customer service number for publix. They no nothing about this and it is not offered in any public in Florida.

This is a link to the weekly ad for an Orlando Publix, showing the coupon for the deal.

  2. I'd buy the daily pack on 3 days at least on a 7 day cruise plus on port days still buy a few drinks regular each day

The concept would work out great and in Carnivals interest cause there's Lots of people who don't buy the current cheers Pkg because their other cabin mate doesn't drink so it makes it way to expensive

Even on Royal they aren't allowing you to pick the days you want to do it.

This is an example of how Royal did it recently on Liberty OTS. It seems they are waiting to later in the cruise to see how well beverages are selling.

    Just off the liberty.

The drink card appeared on day 6 of a 9 day cruise. $67 for 10 drinks.

Imo it's a good deal if you can split it with someone.

On day 8, there was a notice in the compass that they would have 1-day packages on day 9 (the last sea day), but when I asked about that, I was told they weren't honoring it.

    Another example

On the Nov 30-Dec 10 Vision cruise the $120 for 15 drinks was offered on Day 7 or 8 of a 10 day cruise and then the $68 for 10 drinks was offered on the 2nd to last day. It was a paper card and could be shared with anyone you wanted and could be used for any beverage alcoholic or non-alcoholic up to $14. No auto gratuity was added and each drink ordered was initialed off by the bartender. Most of the mixed drinks were $10 and $12 and most beers were $5.50 and $6.00, so the card made for a good value for us light drinkers.
  3. There is a mix of free classes and $12 classes.

I haven't seen Tai Chi offered in a long time. But the others are done at least twice.

I would suggest going up to the spa area the first day and picking up a schedule. They also have a sign up sheet.

    Fitness Classes

Classes may not be offered on every ship or every saildate; classes are subject to space limitations and participation.

    Stretch

    Body Conditioning

    Abs

    Tai Chi

For the following classes, there is a $12.00 USD fee per class:

    Yoga

    Pilates

    Cycling

  4. Dry dock dates 2/6/2016- 2/20/2016

    Excerpt:

Prior to its deployment to Mobile, the 2,056-passenger Carnival Fantasy will undergo a multi-million-dollar refurbishment that will add several elements of the cruise line's popular Fun Ship 2.0 product enhancement program, including Guy's Burger Joint, developed in tandem with Food Network star*Guy Fieri, two poolside watering holes, the RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar, and the BlueIguana Cantina Mexican-themed eatery.

  5. Not interested in expensive hotel! How about $75-100 range?

Have you ever thought about trying AirBnB? Lots of great options in Old San Juan and Condado well within that price range. You could get a studio with full kitchen or maybe even an apartment to yourself, depending on your cruise date.

Do some research and see if it's a good fit for you.

  7. It always seems quicker for me to just put a hold on one and book the other. Then I dislike calling in to book lol I had to call today for something and was on hold for 5 mins.

Gone are the days of the discount. Back when they weren't so popular, Carnival gave $50 off the second cruise.

  8. Thanks for posting this link! I never knew this site existed and I just booked the Harmony to the Med for October :D

Glad it helped,it saves me so much time in searching. I'm planning to book Harmony when the new schedule comes out in the spring

At the top of the solo page there are buttons for hot deals and search. These pages also have pricing for 1 person on a bunch of lines, including Carnival. I sort the full search results by price per day to find the cheapest ones.

Great info.. I never ventured past the solo deals.

  9. I checked out your site but I can't find any Carnival Cruises. Other than Norwegian the other cruise lines are very expensive per day and their lowest per day price is as high as Carnival highest per day prices. Norwegian does have prices that are lower than Carnival but I'm not too crazy about Norwegian.

Since you can just search carnival by putting in 1 passenger,it's pretty straightforward how to find the lowest priced cruises right from Carnival. Wish all the cruise lines would set their pages us like that.

Norwegian has that option but their booking engine makes you click all the way through to get the real solo price,so it can be tedious.

  10. How do you find these deals anyway. I am always single and can't afford the double price.

    Thanks.

Thanks to the site cruiseplum it's really easy now. Since its not a travel agency we are allow to mention it.

    https://www.cruiseplum.com/solo-supplement-deals

    Follow the link above

Where you see a blue button with "cruise" I choose the option "none"

Then go all the way over to price per day and click so I can see the cheapest per day solo deals.

You have the option to pick various ways of finding the best deals, but that works best for me since I like longer cruises.

  11. I also noticed the credit and was told it was for laundry after I saw laundry charges and called to ask. That's when they told me to look at my folio and there would be a credit that covered laundry for the whole cruise. However, I didn't realize if you don't use it, you lose it? Is this the case?

True, its not a credit that is refundable.

  12. Has anyone booked this or similar on NCL? The terms and conditions used to say solos didnt get the perks unless paying 200%... but not sure if this is enforced and/or if they changed it.

Sorry, I re-read the post and see you did actually book it. Do you know if the Terms and conditions still stated that piece about solos?

Not sure it was every a issue with how much a solo paid,it was about the cabin category.

In the past the beverage package wasn't available to anyone booked in a studio or inside cabin.

Ncl has had decided to offer the perks to all categories and at times you can get two perks.

  13. Any idea which ports are doing this now? We leave out of Miami in 35 days, last time I was there it went pretty fast, but we seemed to have gotten there at the perfect time and it only took like 20 to 30 minutes for the whole process and we were on board. I can't remember what time we arrived though unfortunately.

This is the latest info I have seen

Staggered Check-In is a pilot currently being conducted on ships sailing from Galveston, Texas. Staggered Check-In will be rolled out to ships sailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, commencing with the following cruise departures:

    Carnival Elation, 1/23/2016 and onwards

    Carnival Dream, 1/24/2016 and onwards

    Carnival Triumph, 4/04/2016 and onwards

  14. long story short..my carival gift card got lost in the mail..I booked cruise thru TA, so Carnival can't do anything with my booking, my TA can't add a Carnival gift card to my on board account( I sail in 6 days) no time for replacement card. I have the gc # and amount of the card. Question is..do I have to physically have the card in my possession to add to to my account once on board or can I give the # to guest services and they can apply it..anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

The downside is if someone else gets that card they can use it.

I would keep checking the balance on the carnival website daily so you aren't disappointed at check-in.
