    New website.

The special rates have been extended at least here in Canada and US sites. 12 days more. For what it's worth, I would most definitely be using an agent under the current website conditions. Good luck with your booking.

I tend to agree on pulling the trigger as we are also waiting on booking, however to your point on agents dropping Azamara, i just opened an email from a large big box TA which is not only advertising but featuring Azamara as a great deal! I have been using this agency for many years and this gives me some encouragement.
  3. Having just completed our 12th Azamara cruise in April, for some reason we have been dropped from the email list and haven't received any of these Cabezas apologies and updates. Accounts are a mess but I will wait and hope for improvement one day. Good thing i read cruise critic to stay up to date and to all of you, thankyou for sharing.
  4. Not sure I agree as there are some great deals on Celebrity and Oceania at the present. Cruise companies must remain competitive and deliver the best overall cruise experience to attract business to their own ships and "smoke and mirrors pricing" is easy to spot.

I'm sorry to say that as much as I would love to be calling my TA to arrange our next Azamara cruise, i am on the fence about even doing a booking with all this ongoing chaos. There is only so much you can expect of your travel agent. Watching and waiting til the dust settles...if ever? So discouraging.
  6. There are hundreds of posts on the Azamara pages since late March. I'm sure if you take the time to go through them you might find some answers. It is currently a mess. Hopefully you booked with a travel agent who may be able to assist you, but it's difficult even for them at the present time.
  7. Stefano Rome Cabs, everytime we visit....excellent, dependable service.
  8. You might have better results posting this on your own Onward rollcall.
  9. This is very disappointing to read and and I am so sorry you have these additional complications to deal with. I really hope someone from Azamara takes the time to read these messages and soon realizes the implications, not only for their guests but for their ongoing business. An update on expected timeline and return to normal is more than overdue.
  10. We received ours after disembarking Pursit on April 8.
  11. Website revamp. Lots of information on the boards to update you on the ongoing account issue. Don't waste your time on the call. They promise things will be sorted.
  12. We boarded in April 1st in Rome without having access to our acccount therefore no printed boarding passes or luggage tags. Dockside luggage reps have a list and will label all your bags. Passport and credit card us will you need to show. No issues whatsoever and I am pleased to report boarding was simple with no delays. Relax and enjoy your cruise!
  13. "My gut tells me" that we have no way of confirming your suspicions and posts like this only fan the flames. Certainly Azamara could do a much better job at keeping their clientele informed thus avoiding wild speculation online. We can only hope this website fiasco is near completion so we can all get back to anxiously anticpating our next cruise.
  14. You can easily book on board and use OBC and avoid new website glitches. Fellow passengers on your cruise are likely in the same position and shore excursions desk will be waiting to assist you.

You have a great attitude and i hope your Azamara cruise is fabulous. We were in the same situation two weeks ago and we were thrilled by the way the cruise was handled. Have faith!

Same sitation here. Maybe it's our reward for flying half way round the world on a whim without express pass or any guarantee they will be capable of processing us when we arrive. Our numerous attempts to access our fully checked in account prior to their switch over period has turned me from an Azamara loyalist to a cynic I'm afraid. One more sleep and all will be revealed.
  17. Some surveys aren't worth much. This one seems a bit shallow considering timing, sample size, and geographical demographics. Personally, I would value the opinions of those who have experienced the other brands in addition to Azamara and can draw their own conclusions. There is so much good information on Cruise Critic that it doesn't take long to identify solid reviewers and those " complaints" just can't be taken seriously. I'll stick with cruise critic and my own research thanks!
  18. Interesting but no agreement here. We have tried some of these and have to wonder?
  19. Absolutely! Well said and a good reminder to all.
  20. Very interested in your live report. We will follow along and wish you well on this fabulous adventure. Thanks for sharing.
  21. We had excellent cruise on Azamara Onward in early January. The Caribbean is very familiar to us having done multiple sailings over the past 20 years so we took advantage of the comfort of the ship more often than we would have on a larger ship and some ports opted to stay onboard There was so much mixing and friendly chatting amongst the guests and it reminded me that the relaxed smaller ship vibe is what we enjoy most. Dining, hotel services and staff are excellent! This was our 12th Azamara and we look forward to our next in April.
  22. Not necessarily. We have had many cruises on Azamara at much less than Celebrity. There are many good deals out there but you have to do your homework and watch for promotions. You must also weigh out included vs. Extra charges on both lines and decide what works for you.
  23. Yes, there was one other much larger ship way over across the bay. Can't really recall who it was.
  24. We sailed 5th to 17th of January and Azamara docked in centre of Town.
