Jovo transferred over to the Escape last week
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Really we spoke with him Monday before we left and he didn't say anything about leaving

Actually the dismanteling of the slide was for insurance with the Music at Sea charters that started this week not the refurb.
We just got off the 12 Day and had a great cruise. Yes the ship is showing some wear and tear but the crew was cleaning, painting and polishing everyday. As for rude crew sorry couldn't find any of them onboard, now rude passangers that's another story. Cant wait to see how the refurb goes and are looking to sail the 10 day next year.

We too were on the 12 day and must say it was a wonderful cruise. There were a few issues the first day with our cabin but they were addressed quickly and did not deter from the overall trip. I do agree with the smoking we were on deck 10, 10664 and our cabin to had a smell of smoke. As a former smoker my nose is now trained to it and its unpleasant to me, our room steward sprayed our room and it helped a lot.
I do agree with the crew as being outstanding, Henry our room steward was one of the best we have ever had. He was so accomidating and very detailed oriented.
I felt the food was an improvement since our Nov 2015 Star cruise in fact we went back to Cagneys twice this was the first cruise we have gone back there. Funny about filling the water bottles I had to tell a few fellow passengers as well and they just kept doing it, ignorant.

Another vote for Royston Tours, we've used him on both our trips to St Kitts and had his cousin Ashton as our driver both times
-
Anyone know who is the concierge on the Jade?
Omar O'Besso was on during Christmas but my understanding is he is leaving for vacation before we board Jan 24th. He wasn't sure who he was being replaced by

Another Ncl question. If you have the UBP, do they give you a insulated plastic glass? Other lines do with the soda package, so was wondering for the UBP.
We have never got the insulated cup as part of the UBP promo only when we booked the soda package for our son he was given one.

We've done entertaining in our suite before and have just asked the butler for some finger food, cheese and crackers, fruit etc and its never been a problem.

Denise. We go on the Jade tomorrow. If Liz reminds me I will post next Sunday after we return. A big Hello to your family.:)
Thanks Larry that would be great. Everyone is well here, miss you and Liz. Big hugs to you both from us

We used Spencer twice for the Jalousie Beach Break when in St Lucia and had a great time with no issues either time. Spencer is such an awesome guy and loves his island. There were chairs available at the beach and the food was amazing, don't forget to have some rum punch.
He was such a pleasure to speak to and him and my son have become great friends and still email each other.
I have no issues recommending him for a tour!

I recommend Calabaza, Gina and her crew are awesome. You never feel crowded with only 12 onboard and the food and drinks are amazing.
-
Barbados is by far my most favorite place to go in the Carribean, we have been there by cruise ship and my son and I spent 2 weeks there last summer. If you like to swim and want to see the turtles I recommend Calabaza for a great day on the water. You get 2 snorkel spots where you will swim and feed the sea turtles and snorkel over the ship wrecks. After snorkeling you'll sail down the coast and anchor off the beach where you will have lunch and the opportunity to swim. You are close enough to the beach that you can swim up and relax. The entire days is great as are the food and drinks, well worth the price.
Calabaza is an awesome day and you wont be sorry sailing with Gina and her crew.

You probably had Royston's cousin Ashton and that's just him very low speaking. I had him our first trip to St Kitts and then requested him the next two trips. He is so loveable and wants you to be pleased with your visit.
I'm sorry you had a bad day that is definitely typical of Royston or Ashton.
I have recommended them to a number of people and they have never been disappointed.
-
If your looking for a private tour try Royston Tours and ask for his cousin Ashton. We've used him 3 times and had a wonderful time.
Ashton loves seeing how much my son has grown each time we go back.
You wont be sorry booking him
-
Yes you will have time to do the market before boarding. We've done this tour 2 times and both times we had enough time to do some shopping and have a drink.
Don't forget to have some of Spencers rum punch!

We went with Victor for the second time in November and loved seeing the monkeys again. Victor has really put a lot of work into caring for them and all the animals.
We probably spent close to an hour there seeing the monkeys, birds and other wildlife he has living there.
Highly recommend Victor

Check out Victor Bodden tours. We've used him a number of times and had a great trip each time. He has a number of different tours available or you can do a private tour that you design. Make sure you stop at Victors house and see the monkeys.
His tours are convenient for everyone, we had my dad with us last year and he's 80 as well as my 14 yrs old son.

In Barbados I definitely suggest sailing with Calabaza. It's a great day of snorkeling, swimming, sailing with food and drinks. We've been to Barbados 4 times and spent all four with Calabaza. Gina and her crew are the best around and they are the best excursion out of all 10 of our cruises.
St Kitts book with Royston tours, he has a number of different ones available and we've done them. Last time we hired him as our driver for the day and he took us out to the beach and stayed all day with us then brought us back to the pier.
St Lucia we've used Spencer Ambrose both time for a speed boat to the Pytons with a beach day and had a lot of fun.

We were there last week and the water was muddy and a lot of seagrass. Was offered a full refund but chose to go and enjoy the day and we did. Staff is wonderful and food was delicious. Cant wait to get back and hopefully the water will be clear this time

Latitudes numbers are automatically assigned after the first cruise for adults however with children they do not receive a latitudes status until they turn 18. NCL is supposed to keep track of their cruises and then give it at that time, but I am keeping track for my son just in case
-
Yes my husband and son used it last week, we mainly use it for the texting portion so we can find out where he is and remind him about what time to be back for dinner. My husband said it worked much better then when they used it on the Breakaway

Omar is on vacation, he left in February not sure when he's due back. Bowen was filling in for him, if you've never had Bowen he is truly amazing as well
