Was not a problem with waiters coming around on the Sunshine this past November.

I once found a ring in the safe and another time found a set of keys. Turned them both in at guest services. Hopefully this ring will find it's way back to the original owners.

Mine do that if I print them from Carnival's website. What I do is save as a pdf and then print from that file. Never a problem doing it that way for me.

The only ones that can move up are the ones that are in the platinum person's cabin. FTTF boards early but still after platinum. If everyone must board together then the platinum person can come sit with you guys after they check in and board with y'all with whatever boarding priority number you have.

Our family of 5 is on our first cruise on 3/18. We just booked our two balcony cabins less than 60 days ago, and there was no mention of possible continued construction during the cruise. Two teen boys will be VERY disappointed! To spend this much money to walk into that mess for Spring Break is unacceptable!!
Doesn't sound good. Read post #51.

Sorry but this is 100% unacceptable. We have never felt the need to complain about any cruise we have ever been on. But had we been subjected to this......

There is another thread about this that has photos to prove the OP's story. I have never complained on any of the 20 cruises we have taken. However, had this happen to us I would be beyond livid! So sorry OP.

We had an experience on a tender into Belize as you did. I sat in the first seat closest to and right after the door opening. The entire ride it was as if someone was standing at the door and throwing buckets of water on me. I was drenched head to toe. It happened 6 years ago and we still laugh about it.

They do it at the place we stay at in Myrtle Beach too. They reach over the fence and place their towels or whatever on the lounge chairs that are along the fence line. When the pool opens at 9am every single chair is already reserved.

Decks 11 and 12 can look down into the balconies on deck 10. We had a spa cabin on 12 and our friends had one on 11. Both cabins had the sliding door to the balcony. If I had a choice I would pick a cabin on deck 11. From there you walk straight out into the main area of serenity.

You check in right by Alchemy on deck 5. If tables are available they hand you a slip of paper and off you go straight to the dining room to be seated. Our party of between 6 and 8 never had any trouble being seated right away so we were never handed a pager. We went down each night between 6 and 615. Hope this helps.

We have done the above mentioned tour and it was awesome.

We sailed 8 days on the Sunshine Oct 28th to Nov 5th and never smelled a hint of the "odor".

The last time we were there you could rent gear and a vest. It's very easy for beginners off the beach. The further you go out the more coral there is and the more experienced you need to be. The coral comes up almost to the water level in spots so you need to pay attention. There is plenty to see though without going out real far. Tons of beautiful fish and coral to see. I would rate the snorkeling there as A+++.

What time were you able to leave the ship?
We did self assist and was one of the first 10 people to leave the ship. We were off and outside by 12:25.

After leaving Grand Turk, heading back, we had a sick passenger that needed immediate medical attention. We detoured over to Nassau to drop the passenger off. That put us behind and didn't arrive in Norfolk until noon.

What area code are they calling from?
Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
Yep, like DogChopper said the call will be from area code 305.

Thanks again everyone, now if only Friday would get here sooner!!

The upsell fairy has been working overtime on that cruise! We are doing the same cruise and last week we got a call as well. We went from a balcony to an ocean suite for $300. I know lots of people in both the roll call here on CC plus the group on social media that I am in have gotten calls from the upsell fairy, which is awesome considering it was a sold out cruise! The theory is that perhaps lots of people had to cancel in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew, so in turn lots of rooms opened up. Doesn't really matter the reason why, I am just thrilled we got a call too!
Enjoy your suite and have a great cruise!

Thanks, I thought it was awesome. I had to ask her twice if it was $100 for the whole cabin, haha. It was nice to finally get the call and also have it be a sweet deal.

It sure took awhile but was it ever a very nice offer. We sail on Oct 28th, 8 days out of Norfolk, and originally had an ocean view on Riviera deck. The offer was to move up to a Spa balcony for $100 total for the cabin. It was a no brainer so now we are on deck 12. They also upgraded our daughter from an inside on Riviera to an inside on Lido for free. Thanks Carnival!!

We sail on Sunshine to Canada on October 8. I know it's all about the safety but we have been looking forward to this for so long. I hope we still get to go!
All the models and meteorologist have Matthew turning east and looping back south prior to getting up to Virginia. A cruise leaving New York heading north to Canada will not be affected. Have a great cruise.

I just take a small mini stapler with me and put 3 staples in each luggage tag as I attach them to my luggage. The only overkill I do is attach 1 to each handle. In 18 cruises I have never had one come off.
Pride late docking into port today 4/23

Local news here in Hampton Roads said that a passenger suffered a heart attack as the ship was nearing the CBBT. Coast Guard was dispatched from Elizabeth City and airlifted the passenger to Norfolk Sentara.
