I absolutely love packing for a cruise!

We have had "tablemates" only once and never again. We had a rectangular 8 top by the window. No matter how early our group arrived this couple would already be there, sitting closest to the window, across from each other. All they did was complain about everything. I bought a bottle of wine for us and to be polite I offered them some. They proceeded to talk about how bad it was. The rudest people we have ever met on a cruise. This was very early on in our cruising life and learned our lesson. Now we only sit with the people that we cruise with. No more strangers for us.

You may not get the exact same table but you can certainly request to be seated in a particular wait team's area so you end up with the same servers each night. They will definitely honor that request.

That cabin is up where the first three lifeboats are which are taller and are higher than the floor. However, it is between two lifeboats which does make it a little better.

I agree with this as an option. We have stayed there before and they have a shuttle to the ship. Rate for your date is $129.

We have stayed at the Best Western Cocoa Beach twice and would again.

Seems to be hit or miss. We took an 8 day in November and the first 4 days that pool was ice cold. Nobody got in it ever. Then we wake up day 5 and it is like bath water. Stayed that way the rest of the cruise and stayed full.

I have stayed in the deluxe on the magic. The tub depth is about as deep as an average tub. The length is about only 4 foot instead of the standard 5 foot.

We have also stayed in one and I concur with your description.

Just curious, which show was this on AWE? Dream Cruises? I just realized that I now have AWE on DirecTV! I used to have FIOS and enjoyed AWE for their island coverage. Glad to have it back!

Yes, it was on Dream Cruises on AWE. I recorded it on my dvr.

A lot of people like the idea of not having to put as much money down upfront on their cruise. I used it as an opportunity to book 3 cruises at once.

Thanks for the info. Even though a room is slotted for two people if it has a sofa does that mean it can be used for 3 if needed? Do all Carnival sofas turn into sofa beds?

You can sleep where you want if you have multiple cabins. However, if a cabin is slotted for 2 people that is all that Carnival will allow you to book for that particular cabin.

We purchased the eGift card a few weeks ago...we only received a receipt. Should we get an email? or something else? Our verizon account is in my husband's name and he used his email, so I don't like not being able to logon and see anything!!!

Go back into Verizon rewards and log in. Click view orders or something like that. It is there you will see the link that shows the actual 16 digit card number with the pin. At least that is how it works for me.
