  1. Concierge rooms are generally on higher decks and more desirable locations than standard veranda categories.
  2. Also if booking for the first time Windstar has a referral program. If you know someone who has sailed Windstar before you can use their loyalty number and you both receive $100 in OBC per person. If you don't know anyone I'm sure someone on here would gladly "refer" you.
  3. I re-read you post. If you are saying you got a refund and only a $450 Future Cruise Credit good for a year you definitely deserve more. I still doubt they will cover your extended stay in FLL but it should be more inline with the 1-3 in my above post. If you exhaust the normal channels I would escalate to the executive office.
  4. Can you confirm what Celebrity did. Generally in situations like this they provide the following. 1) Full refund of they sailing which you couldn't take due to their fault. 2) Future cruise credit based on the amount of your original reservation 3) Flight change fees. From what you wrote I didn't see anything about a refund of your original reservation, just a future cruise credit and $450 for inconvenience? They generally wouldn't cover additional travel expenses as the future cruise is considered the good will gesture. Your TA which I assume is a large agency should help you resolve this. They have access to sales support channels with more leverage. Please let us know how you make out.
  5. On the confirmation email there should be the carrier record locator. Make sure to use the one marked Carrier
  6. The wifi package is not required to use the Celebrity APP messaging feature. You just have to be connected to wifi but the device doesn't need to be "logged in" to the internet package. To use standard iMessage and WhatsApp you have to be logged in to the package. To use standard SMS you have to be logged in and your phone must have a Wifi calling with your provider and it must be enabled.
  7. Last time I sailed Summit out of SJ they didn't start accepting luggage until they opened the terminal at 11 am. Probably a couple hundred people in line with luggage at that time.
  8. You should be able to have the celebration on your desired cruise. Just communicate with the CC concierge onboard Edge so they can document that you want it on your Pacific coastal sailing.
  9. @Jeremiah1212 is a TA and he said recent change so I would assume more recent than last month.
  10. Funny thing is she never did a PUP, it was always me. We too have always sailed together. But we are no longer chasing points sot it doesn't matter.
  11. @Jeremiah1212 Are they still allowing book now of refundable fares?
  12. Easy way to tell is to logon to each online account and look at the points. If they are linked you should both see the same points. The DH is not given additional points. If at some time in the future the accounts are unlinked his account will revert to the actual number of points earned either by sailing or PUPs. Due to Celebrity's wonderful IT I was unable to participate in about 10 CC points worth of PUPs so my point count is lower than DW. Although my online account point total matches hers I occasionally get an email with my lower point total.
  13. Just was reviewing the T&C on the flyer you posted. You are probably not eligible due to the clause: . Guest names must be identical on each stateroom booking.
  14. The BC sailing might not be eligible but the other one should be. They used to not give the discount on sailings less than 7 nights (they now do). I had a 6 night B2B with a longer sailing and got the discount on the longer sailing. Might be worth another call. But then again it's only $50.
  15. If you are going to do Bonaire Cruisers I think you need to do it first thing as I believe if you don't pickup the cart by I think 10 am they will give it to someone else even if you have a reservation. I truly think you are trying to do too much in one day. The island is small and very laid back but one of our favorite ports.
  16. See my post #6. There is no extra OBC for B2B cruises. It's a discount you get applied prior to final payment (generally at booking but they should apply any time up to final payment).
  17. We use these 55# swivel hooks. Had 6 but just bought another 6. We hang robes, jackets, hats etc. Attach to the ceiling vs the wall. If used on the wall anything over a couple pounds will slip. From the ceiling can handle quite a bit of weight. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08271DGG5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  18. Eclipse M/C lounge is fairly small. If your talking about the 10/21 sailing it is the sailing after the repo from Boston which tends to attract Zenith and B2B. I personally know of 6 on this sailing so I imagine there will be many more. I wouldn't hold my breath that access of status match will be available. You will be invited to the lunch and have all the other benefits.
  19. Actually it's a discount on the cruise fare, not OBC. I believe the Equinox sailings are all 7 night so the discount is $50 per cabin for each leg. Just contact whomever you booked with to get them to get Celebrity to apply. https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Celebrity/General_Info/Flyers/CEL_Back_to_Back_Offer_Flyer.pdf
  20. No you should still be able to do checkin. Your Xpress pass will be automatically updated when a cabin is assigned
  21. I did this. The excursions had increased in price by $10pp on each excursion and was charged the new price (understandable). I believe the refund was made as refundable onboard credit and was refunded to my credit card at the end of the sailing as I had not spent it. On Star yachts you could see the refundable OBC listed separately from the Windstar use it or lose it OBC on the TV system.
  22. Generally they return the seapass from the first cruise at the end of the second. Delivered to your room.
  23. This year will be our first actually sailing over Christmas. We are on Star Pride from Barbados to Panama. We have been on Celebrity ships between Thanksgiving and Christmas and really enjoyed seeing the decorations going up. We decided on Windstar over the holiday this year as we figure there will be fewer children given Windstar's age restrictions.
