    Using Marriott points for Atlantis day trip possible?

    Did they also confirm it was ok to use the water park before check in time?

     

    We will be there from noon to 9pm. I know it gets dark early so I don't think it would be worth paying for this excussion, however I have a ton of marriott points so if I can use points then even if I only use the waterpark for 3 hours it might be worth it....especially since we can walk around, visit dig and eat dinner there after.

     

    The slides open at 10 and close around 5 but we swim until then. So yes you can use it early.

    This is what I would be concerned about: The U.S. Department of State rates the criminal threat level for New Providence Island*(Nassau) as critical, with the criminal threat level for Grand Bahama Island, which includes Freeport, rated as high. Crime in general has been rising in the Bahamas. Armed robberies, property theft, purse snatchings, and other theft of personal property are the most common crimes against tourists.     Carnival Vista moving to Galveston

    I love the fact that they keep bringing over these newer ships to Galveston. Lets me take cruises on them instead of having to go all the way to Florida to experience the newer ships. I am confused though as to why they are doing away with the Bahamas on the ship. I suppose that's because the freedom will still go:) there!

     

    i too am disappointed no Bahamas!
