New thread today from a poster who received notification from Princess that she may have fog issues again this weekend. :(

Just got off CB last Sun. on time at 7am but was already in Texas waters at 7pm Sat.

Capt Nick may be able to do something about your worries for 31st.

I know they changed captain's, is this the new captain's name? I sure hope he can get back before the fog!

I thought, I had fixed that, oh well, anyway, what a great captain, we sail on her in March and have been fogged in/out before, twice, so that's great to hear at least they can unload and reload. Thanks!! P.s. if it's Caribbean princess , why cb and not cp?

Our captain did several of the inner island routes not on the normal route...it was awesome!!!

We were on the cruise as well. My wife woke me up telling me it was out at about 11PM. I jumped awake and ran outside on the balcony. My apologies if anyone saw me naked, but I was excited. As cold as it was I ran back in and put on clothes. It was amazing!

Leaving on Noordam the 19th, and so i went to the Marine Time to see what they were doing this week and it is doing a different route than i thought. Just curious is this is normal? It's near GIL island right now, which would be cool to see.

Can you see whales at the end of September? We are in Juneau the 21st and I was afraid it might be slim by then because I noticed the tours stopped end of that week??

Yes, we looked at a Celebrity option that includes Hubbard Glacier not but Glacier Bay. That is really ideal as we have no time for a land portion and it's much easier for us to travel to Vancouver. Not sure if we would regret not going to Glacier Bay however.

We are doing glacier bay but on Holland America RT VanCouver. We have been to Hubbard, loved it, lots of calving!! Glacier bay was good too but I think Hubbard is impressive, and we spent more time at the one big glacier vs. Sailing through smaller ones. Hopefully others can chime in.

Did you consider a Roundtrip from Vancouver? That's our favorite

I am curious we are already in an SY suite on the Noordam for Sept. 19th Alaska, but there still about 10 Neptune suites still open. Would the offers go to Balcony rooms or might we have a chance at receiving one?

I am concerned that I will not get to see much of what you have talked about due to the fact that the hubby wanted to try a September 19th cruise this time. We have always gone in the summer time with lots of daylight! I fear we will have many dark nights w/o chances of seeing the wildlife. :confused:

I didn't see lobster on the Lido dinner menu on second formal night, just curious, as we are 9/19 Noordam.

We are on the 9/19 noordam, curious what the offer was cost wise, we are already in SY but would love a Neptune suite.

Is this only for neptune suites and above? What about signature suites?

Just compared the cruise I have booked next May with 1-2-3 GO vs the ongoing promotion. The difference is huge to say the least. I will wait until this promo is over to book anything new. It is a complete rip-off. I would essentially be paying $1700 for an Internet package. What am I missing?!?:mad::mad::eek:
