  1. If you call Carnival and bring it to their attention, there's no way they'll let you on. Just try it, what's the worst that can happen? They don't let you cruise. That's what's going to happen if you call, so???
  2. In addition to the vouchers or when using the vouchers? Because if it's in addition to, I'm never leaving the island!!! 🀣
  3. My plan also. But, I am a heavy coffee drinker, it's my drink of choice all day long. I prefer the coffee in DL to the coffee in the Windjammer.
  4. Not a chance. More cruising, less money on a cabin. Except the next 2. My cruise buddy like to have a balcony cabin, even though she rarely steps out on it! 😁If I had my way it would be inside cabin every time.🀣
  5. Although I prefer to sail RC, I sure miss Tea Time on sea days at 3:30 on Carnival. Sipping on tea and chatting it up with everyone in the dining room over-looking the ocean was sure a nice afternoon respite. They always had someone on the piano playing beautiful, soft music. Not to mention the array of awesome desserts that was brought around on the cart to choose from!! Many years ago the desserts they had on the cart were phenomenal! As the years passed, they were less extravagant but still super yummy! I sure wish RC would do Tea Time on sea days.
  6. I guess I have to wait for Pinnacle to gain access to SL.
  7. I wonder if the Oasis has both. I cruise on her in a few months.
  8. Yup...plus, can always shower in the spa bathrooms. They're nice, too.
  9. Possibly quieter in the Concierge. So, I have two options for the coffee machine... 50/50 chance of a working one. πŸ˜†
  10. What is the difference between the two? Are both lounges on the ship?
  11. I book the least expensive most times. I prefer to save on each cruise in order to cruise more often. I am rarely in my cabin and hardly ever use the balcony. My Oasis cruise, in a few months, I booked the Park View balcony...it was only a few dollars more than the standard inside. My Oasis cruise in June next year we booked a balcony because my SIL only cruises every few years and she likes the outside balcony--I would have preferred one of the aft boardwalk balcony cabins.
  12. She did offer to mail me the towel instead of me receiving it as a gift onboard but I just chose a basket to be delivered while onboard instead. I've never booked a suite on RC. What is the happy hour perk?
  13. You have to call. That is the only way to select what you would like, it’s not able to be done online. You can change it up for every cruise by just calling. Every time you change it up it will remain that way for every cruise until you call again and change it up.
  14. I'm a bit confused I think. Does your mom not have the booking number to go online to the cruiseline's website and check in? As long as she has the booking number, she can go online and check in herself.
  15. OP: I get what you're referring to. I enjoyed that last night when we handed out the envelopes loaded with cash--before they changed the policy to auto gratuity. No, I'm not going to pay auto gratuity AND tips on the last night.... Not anymore than I'm going to add more than the 18% gratuity than is already on the bar bill. To each their own.
  16. Not sure, she just read them all out to me over the phone. I finally had to interrupt her and say "I'll just take to towel" because I didn't think the list would ever stop and I was starting to forget what she had already said! 🀣
  17. I called C&A to have some things updated on my C&A profile today. My wait time was only about 10 minutes and I was so lucky with the person who answered; I wish I had gotten her name. Most probably know this already, but I did not and I'm happy the rep was so informative. I was able to change my Diamond gift from sodas to alcoholic beverages now that I'm Diamond Plus. There was quite a few choices to choose from. Additionally, the list of cabin gifts to choose from was VERY lengthy! I chose the RC beach towel as my gift, but they were out of stock so I just went with the fruit basket and cheese plate. There was also champagne, various wines, truffle plate, chocolate covered strawberries, RC slippers......the list goes on (there were so many I lost track-it was over a dozen options)....I was impressed with the amount of options! If you don't call each time before a cruise to change your selection, you will get the same each time.
  18. I'm getting a soda and ice cream and making myself a float!! LOL
  19. I haven't cruised in about 5 years, just trying to catch up on everything.
  20. Do you now have to pay for room service?
  21. Also, I vaguely remember way back when, there was a special dining area for breakfast. Is this still the case?
