  1. so according to the RC website I have been assigned the same stateroom although it is a better category on Adventure. I wonder what the odds are that they change my room again to the category I had booked on Voyager.
  2. I havent seen my reservation updated with my travel agent yet but i'll keep an eye out. Thanks.
  3. Yep, I was booked on one of those. Huge balcony, really looking forward to it but not any more! It looks like I was swapped over to adventure in the same room number and we will see if that sticks.
  4. Yes, thats my plan, too. Should work well.
  5. good link. Thanks! I am less likely to buy a package with these ugly cups.
  6. Its funny. During the initial return RCL was promising to fly any passengers home on a private jet that got covid and here we are at the other end of things where they do almost nothing.
  7. I was thanking you for your assistance. How was that rude? I think you may have misread my message.
  8. Thanks. I've been waiting about a month and again my only response was "we're not reimbursing you" so we will see what happens next.
  9. I can understand that but its because its a condition of the CDC allowing the cruise ships to sail. Otherwise, if people get covid, they get right back on an airplane and infect other passengers because it might be too expensive for them to do the right thing.
  10. I did exactly that. Thanks for that pro tip, I think it will make the difference.
  11. When my wife got Covid onboard the Vision of the Seas in April we were given a letter that stated we had two options once we got off the cruise ship: If we lived within driving distance, we could 1. Drive our own car or 2, Rent a car and be reimbursed up to 150 dollars a day for the car rental. If we didn't live within driving distance, we should isolate for a total of 5 days before flying home. We chose to rent a car (i didnt have covid and was able to rent the car without close contact) and drove home rather than flying. The problem is, after months of emails, Royal Caribbean is now refusing to reimburse me for the car rental because they stated it "took place during the quarantine period". Has anyone else received issues with Royal Caribbean refusing to pay for the CDC mandated covid protocols and expenses?
  12. I have done manuals and used the machine onboard and manuals work much better. I got Fresenius to deliver supplies to the ship and they were in my cabin when i arrived. I connect in the bathroom while my wife waits in the cabin and that works pretty well. I can wash up and sterilize the little counter easily.
  13. Me too. Im not planning on doing it for a couple of years but i have never shipped supplies overseas, just to US ports.
  14. Im Fresenius but we have sailed multiple times since last year and there were no issues with PD delivery. There is no ban on anyone doing PD.
  15. of course you do. A hundred people on our last cruise were tested positive during the cruise with covid. I assume RC and the other lines know that many, many people will get Covid but know that it will hurt business to require masks again. They dont care because once you get off you arent there responsibility any more.
  16. Or you got sick onboard and you wanted to know if its covid without alerting the medical staff.
  17. I was wondering this exact thing. So the 3-day dining doesn't require one night be on one of the first two days? i didn't see that mentioned but they always make that presumptuous reservation on night 1 for you. Thanks again for your help.
  18. I didnt see a requirement that one of the nights used must be night 1 or night 2 of the cruise. Is that a requirement or just a suggestion based on the initial reservation? i am diamond plus and get a bogo for night 1 and night 2 so id rather use my dining package later in the cruise.
  19. I need to do the math for doing this versus buying the unlimited dining package.
