  1. We have been on two cruises this past year and have enjoyed Blu. My question is , Do they ever change by adding or subtracting items on their daily menu. I would think by now they would have a pretty good idea which dishes are popular and which are not.

  2. Check with your travel agent. We are booked on May 3rd on the Summit to Bermuda and had the drink package but not the tip package. Latter when tips were added to the 123 package I called my agent and got the benefit without re booking. When we booked it clearly said that if additional benefits were added we would be entitled to add them without re booking.

Go back to your booking and check the 123 package to see if that benefit was part of your booking. Our tip package was added this past October. My agent thought that I was wrong but when they checked with Celebrity the called me back to tell me that yes I was right..

  3. They need to bring in a organization management consulting company to get the communications between the home office and the ships on the same page. Speak to the home office or people in management positions on the ships and you will get different answers to the same questions. This is badly managed company with a good product that is successful despite themselves.

  4. We just got off the Reflection this past Saturday. We were in an Aqua Suite and usually dined around seven PM. From 730 on there were plenty of empty tables so I would guess there would

be no problem for suite guests dining in BLU. Each cruise is probably different

We are booked on the Summit May 3 2015 in Aqua class and would like to change to a suite but this new suite dining room which is scheduled to open in April seems to be a top secret to Celebrity. I went to the future cruise desk to inquire and not one of the three people working were sure that the suite dining room would be open by then. They could book me a suite but not guarantee me the new dining and added perks in suites. WHAT? Pay now and maybe you will get what you thought you were paying for.

  5. The 32 page cruise book that I downloaded for my November 8th cruise does not say formal in ALL restaurants. It says Smart casual is the accepted dress in speciality and BLU restaurants.

Celebrity does not seemed to be aware of their own dress codes on formal nights.

Most people do not read Cruise Critic and can only go by the Cruise Book that they get from Celebrity. No wonder that there are the same questions each week about dress codes and drink packages and boarding times.

  6. We are booked since June 6 on the Summit for May 3 2015. We had the drink package as part of the booking. It said then in so many words that if a better deal was offered we would be able to get that deal at no extra cost. When this new package was offered by Celebrity I called my agent and he was not sure. I asked him to call Celebrity and check. Within the hour I had the tip package added to the basic drink package plus a $250.00 OBC from our travel agent.

    It never hurts to ask..
