I believe the FS becomes a 2 bedroom Grand Suite (GT) in May, which is Sky class.

If we sail prior to May, are the RFS perks The same as sky class? We board 4/7/18.

Hi...going to be first time on Anthem and did a guaranteed balcony since the price was so much better...was assigned 13302 - any one have experience in that area? We have two kids under 6, will have a white noise machine. But on our last cruise on the Getaway NCL, we heard lounge chairs being dragged around at night/early morning - want to avoid that. The room seems to be under the windjammer, so hoping noone is dragging chairs at 4am....

Are there any available cabins in the same class elsewhere on the ship, sandwiched between floors of cabins? If so, you man want to request a switch.

Please note I have NO experience in that part of ship. But in general, cabins under the windjammer make me nervous.

No, I have never seen that and we have sailed out of Bayonne 20 times.

 

 

 

You need to pay at the pay stations outside the parking garage after you exit the ship and before you get to your car. Keep the ticket you get when entering the garage with you during your sailing so you have and will be able to pay. Otherwise you will have to go back up to the car and get it and then go back to the pay station.

 

 

 

Your ticket is validated once you pay and then you can exit the garage.

I will be driving to Cape Liberty from central CT & parking at the terminal next week. We haven't been to Cape Liberty since April, 2016... has anything changed that I should know about? Do they still have employees with iPads hanging around various places to check you in?

Am I correct in thinking we need to be checked in by 90 minutes prior to sail away?

Just a quick question, how often does the Anthem of the seas stop at the private island? Leaving 4/7/2018 and been watching the last few weeks and seems they have skipped & gone to Nassau early.

I'm on that sailing too. Fingers crossed we make it to Coco Cay!

I don't have an answer to your question, but anecdotally, I have a 1 for 3 record of actually making it to Coco Cay on the Explorer.

You have to have a fairly new phone and your carrier has to support it. Which cell carrier do you have?

I have Verizon and my phone isn't new, it's a iphone 6s. Does that mean I'm out of luck with wifi calling? DH has a 7s, is that too old too?

We're traveling without our 15 year old, who will be in Europe with her high school orchestra. We wanted a way to keep in touch with her, just in case.

If you have WiFI calling enabled on your phone, you can make and receive phone calls.

How does one enable Wi-Fi calling? Is there a specific app for that? I'm technologically challenged.

Congrats! I got an upsell a few years ago on Norwegian to an Owners suite from a balcony and I surprised my husband. It was so much fun! If he can handle surprises, I would totally wait.

I think DD might be even more excited than DH, once they find out. This switch means she gets a real bed, and not just a Pullman.

Also regarding the lounge, do they have mocktails for kids? Or, purely adult beverages to encourage an adult crowd? And, should I expect a mad rush for the lounge at 5:00? I'm not going to throw elbows for a free drink.

Other ships, yes.

Now to figure out how to maximize Sky class perks, we've never had that "problem" before. Since we have the main seating at 5:30, is there anyway to enjoy a complimentary beverage from the lounge during happy hour?

Forgive me for posting a question which I could certainly figure out if I had time to research: what is the difference between a royal family suite and a family Junior suite on Anthem, and is it worth a $650 upgrade for a seven day cruise? There are 3 of us sailing, 2 adults and an 11 year old.

Was there 1-9-18 and the vests were free. It was a nice surprise. The water was clear but the current was bad, Real bad. It was hard to keep the GoPro steady. It was rainy also but I was swimming. I put together this quick for my FaceBook friends. Happy Sailing!!!

 

 

 

Wow! Where exactly were you snorkeling for this video? Was it on an excursion or by yourself? I'm guessing not an excursion due to the lack of other people in your shot.
