I’ve heard the name old bay seasoning, but I don’t think I’ve ever had some. What do you put it in?
It is a seafood seasoning but my daughters use it on other proteins also.

You talk about bringing things like trays and syrup we always travel with a small can of old bay seasoning.

I am hoping to see more wins from you. I hit this one last August on Oasis. Good luck from Maryland.

@Ourusualbeach I have a question...We are on a b2b on Freedom in August final payment on 1st cruise is May 6th second cruise is May 13th. We were sent new invoices today showing the prices have gone up for Taxes Fees and port expenses. 1st week up $33.96 2nd week up $47.01 there are 3 of us in cabin. I assume Royal is allowed to change theses prices whenever they want?

Not too shabby. That was the exact reason I didn't shoot for the next tier, didn't want to ruin my small gains chasing the next set of comps. I have not pulled the trigger yet but I think I am going to book an 8 day on Adventure next January. Not the most exciting ship, but it's 8 days and out of Port Canaveral. And who knows, I may end up loving it. I love Mariner, didn't care for Explorer. Hoping it is more like Mariner but it's older and not gotten any upgrades so worry it will be like Explorer but either way, not a bad choice especially considering I didn't do too badly in the casino.
I got a casino certificate on our February Anthem cruise we chose the Adventure 8 day Jan 24th 2025

While we were on Anthem sailing 2-9-24 we got word that our daughter's house mate (she rents a room from him) passed away. He was on a church group hike and passed out we think heart but no word yet. Friend of the family for 20 years and he was only 38.

“Balcony Maintenance” today appears to be spray washing them down. They were just on my balcony doing that. I am being a rebel and have my curtains open. 🤣🤣 If they want to peep me reading while fully dressed, go for it. 🤣🤣
We were on deck 13 last week and after balcony maintenance we had 2 inches of water pooled at the balcony doors. Room steward used a squeegee to push the water to the drain.

What time were there no chairs available? I can't really do sand well (knee) so we tend to hang by pools or where the sand is firm. We'll be there on Vision with Liberty in April so less people overall.
@BND we got there around 10am and no chairs available around the heated pool. We stayed under the very large covered bar area which worked well when the storm came thru.

OK--this may be too specific a question. 🤣 TIA
Where are the bathrooms located. I noticed on the map there is a building near building 8 that looks like a bath house [not labeled on map]. Also, I would assume they are near the food venue by the pool.
DH has some mobility issues and it makes life easier if we are within a reasonable distance of the facilities. [food, restrooms] He uses a walking stick and as you can imagine sand is not his friend. However, we have always been beach people--and a little planning makes for a good
@DragonOfTheSeasMy wife and I were there last week. With freedom and anthem there at same time there were no chairs available near the heated pool. We got a chair under the huge covered bar area and used that for our towels. We did not have to walk in any sand to get to the heated pool or rest rooms. The paths are all paved. On a side note glad your husband is doing well.

We were also on this sailing and also had no distilled water in cabin. Room steward had one gallon that she shared with three other cabins. Evian and purified water is not what manufacturers want you to use in the machines.
The only good frozen drink we found was at the pool bar the casino bar drinks were terrible in November and last week.
We really enjoyed the band Iconic in Music Hall a little loud but still very good. Glad they were still there.
We had snow on the Quantum when we embarked in February 2015 and was nice seeing snow on the Anthem as we got off.
We also booked Freedom out of Florida for August much cheaper than cruising from Jersey.

Just an fyi...They are rationing distilled water this sailing. They hope to have some on board in Florida.

We leave tomorrow on the Anthem. We drove up a day early this time and saw Vision docked in Baltimore while driving thru.

Has anyone here requested a win/loss statement from casino Royale. If so how long does it normally take. Thanks again.

While my grandson and I were traveling to the airport Sunday evening i had a tour guide with me. My grandson is 8 and he has been through D.C. before but not at night. With everything all lit up he as giving me a play by play of what we were seeing. The Washington Monument, The White House (where there is an oval office he told me) and the Jefferson memorial. It made the drive so much more enjoyable.

@lauriealMy wife and I usually only have 1 drink a day. So we hardly ever use our 10 drinks a day I am going to try a papjac on my Freedom cruise in August.
