  1. You can just walk into Promenade Cafe, Vitality Spa, the Bistro, Sorrentos Pizza, Windjammer, El Loco fresh, Park Cafe, any bar in the pool area and get a drink any time as long as they are open. Free ice cream most of the day near the pool area. No charge in the morning for most mentioned drinks from room service. If things are not to your liking you can get a prorated refreshment package on day two or three.
  2. 25+ cruises and have always had late dining. I do not think we haver ever missed out on a show.
  3. Water, coffee, milk, chocolate milk, lemonade, ice tea, some watered down juices in the morning. All included and available throughout the ship. Usually much cheaper to pay as you go for Cokes or smoothies unless all the mentioned drinks are shunned by everyone. 25 + cruises with and without kids and never a refreshment package.
  4. Last time I was on Navigator and getting coffee the DL host was standing next to me. He asked if ever use the second screen, I said I never knew of a second screen. He reached over a pushed the small menu button on the lower left side of the screen, I can not remember what was there but at least 6 more options showed up on a new screen. I pushed, I think, the Italian espresso button and had a 3/4 cup of strong espresso. That was on the final afternoon and have not been back again.
  5. They do not charge a fee if you pick your own cabin. They offer a discount for a GTY or a discount if you let them pick, GTY or they pick is the same thing. .

  7. Allure with great DL. Once DL is relocated Symphony will move into first.
  8. 5 each , my wife is fine with 3 per day and I am fine with 7. happy cruising
  9. Every guest with late or early traditional gets a assigned dining room and table number. When you choose MTD you are put Into the full group of MT diners. If you have a reservations you are usually seated quickly, no reservations and you just get what opens up. Way to many with MTD and no reservations insist on eating at 6:30 - 7pm. We had MTD for one night several years ago, people next to us were about 8 inches away. Never again, we love late seating at a large table. Usually have at least a three night specialty for alone time.
  10. Izumi and Playmakers. All the main specialty are included with the package.
  11. That would only work for two tops, can't add to a large table where most are in the middle of eating. Now with Covid restrictions going the way of the Dodo bird the two tops are also disappearing. Lot of people going back to asking for a large table.
  12. Biggest problem with MTD and the long lines is most MTD want to eat a 6-6:30 pm and that is when the lines start.
  13. Read blog from someone on the Wonder TA who tested positive. Royal did pick up most of the tab for the 5 days the wife was in a Barcelona Quarantine hotel. Husband was out of luck, was not allowed to visit while wife was quarantined or allowed to stay in same hotel. He said traveling without insurance was the height of stupidity.
  14. Yes you each get one photo no charge. We usually ask and receive a ship photo also no charge.
  15. In the cruise planner under gifts and gear. Only select ships, small over priced 325 ml bottle.
  16. Covid paranoia. Lysol only kills the weakest of germs, get a $1 throwaway poncho from Walmart to use as you roam the ship.
  17. No reservations for Flow rider, zip line , mini golf, slides, basket ball, ice skating or wall climb.
  18. And what land based restaurant has given you a set time, a set dining room, a numbered table and the same wait staff. Look at your sea pass card it has the deck level and table number, why stop by the host.
  19. Maybe a lot of Americans are embracing the UK way of life, Q up for everything. Why sit when you can stand in line.....
  20. We have always just walked past the host and headed straight to our table. I can see no problem as long as you know where your table is. We have done this when we have a two top or eight top. It would be completely different if we had MTD which we will never have, absolutely love a large table and a 2 hour+ dinner. We always have a at least a three night package for alone time dining.
  21. We always find our table location just after booking, easy to make a change if we don't like the location or table size. Have never done anything other than just walk in and seat ourselves, same time same table same waitstaff every night.
