Yes, each D member gets one free picture.

You have a choice of how you use your internet perk. 1. One free 24 hour period of internet per member.   2. An equivalent cash amount subtracted from an internet package.  (both must be used when on board,  not before your cruise.)

      Hi,

I purchased internet packages for my Navigator B2B, that I am presently on.  My Account doesn’t show any discount. Would it do any good to stand in line at Guest Services? Can they be of help here OR do I need to call from home?

I went to GS on the 2nd day regarding my cancelled items, that I had purchased back in February & March. Still haven’t received a refund …

GS guy said he could help. But, he dialed a number and handed me the phone. I’m listening to the same recorded voice that belongs to the “famous”  2+ Hour wait to talk to a representative. I asked him if he minded me holding here at the GS Desk for the next couple of hours?  Well … maybe it would be best  to call from home ma’am.

I was figuring since I’m in front of him, I’m on the actual cruise I need refunds for AND he has my file there too … with the list of Cancelled BUT not refunded items … well, he could help out. But, he can’t.

7-10 working days???????? Nope, at least not for me.

  2. We’re on the Navigator right now. We had dinner at 5:30pm today. No one in this small section dressed up for the occasion.

Probably about 10 tables in our immediate area. Lots of 2 tops. we were seated in one of the rows.

After we finished with dinner (in the MDR — 1 hour basically). We ordered our desserts to take back up to our cabin. That might have shaved some time in the dining room 🤷🏻‍♀️

Our MDR Team is super nice, as always. I didn’t feel anything was missing.  We have received a basket of bread & had table clothes both nights. Attentive service, & our entree selections were quite tasty.

Currently there is a separate line for Suites and Pinnacles.   I have not seen any separate lines for Diamond or D+.

If you show up at your check in time you should be able to enter the cruise terminal with no wait and be onboard in about 10 to 15 minutes.

I find it easier to print out my covid test results instead of scrambling to find on our phones.   Helps speed up the process for everyone else too.

I definitely agree … I have my necessary paperwork printed, along with my Passport Wallet with my vaccination card.

I last cruised in March  with Carnival on the Panorama . Just took a few minutes.

Thanks for the info on the lines too!  I’ll hope that there is enough staff at Guest Services then … 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Enjoy🤩   My next sailing isn't until August.      We had a wonderful b2b end of March / beginning of April.     Hope you do too!

      Thanks🤗.

Hey, one more question if you don’t mind.  It’s been 4 years since I’ve been on Royal.  Is there a separate line at Guest Services — for Diamond, Suites Etc—  Or is there just one?  I don’t recall.

If you test positive with your own kit you should then contact medical and they will perform a test then you can get Cash refund for the 2nd leg of your cruise.      99.9% sure you would remain in same cabin for that last night and they would assist in your departure for your husband to pick you up.

I just read another post that you are sailing with Carnival.    I am not sure if they give cash refunds or FCC for b2bers that test positive.     royal will give refund.

     OOOPPPSSS …. 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭

I kept writing Carnival … my mistake ..

Now, Yes, I that is my intention, will call medical & then take their test onboard.

THIS weekend I’m on Navigator with Royal. I have upcoming cruises with both lines.

  6.   Hi,

So, I cancelled in early April items from my Friday Navigator Cruise:  Originally ordered in February. As of now,  they are still listed in my “Order History”. I checked my bank account AGAIN and NO REFUND still. Yes, have like triple checked this was the source of the below items.

My question:  I printed my order history. I’ll be on the ship. Can the Shore Excursion Desk be of any help to me?  Even a note on my file stating the obvious that I cancelled ??

I just can’t take calling RCCL OR Carnival these days. 2-12 hours on hold … 🥴🥴

      * Ensenada Shore Excursion

     *  Non-alcohol Beverage Package

     Thank you,

      🛳🛳

You will go through the "extraction" process. Crew comes and gets you and brings you to a holding room. You are then released to a black Mercedes van which will drive you home. It's free. No need to have your husband pick you up.

Actually, re-reading your question...the scenario I described is if you test positive through the ship. Doing your own, put an N95 mask on and walk off the ship. I don't think they would test you then anyway. I would confirm with a PCR then to get your money refunded on the second leg.

Thank you for this information.  Mmmm … I’ll still test Sunday evening.

The phone call to Carnival (oh the wait!!☎️) to apply for a refund??  Nope!

Since Carnival won’t test between cruises. I’ll go with my plan of testing myself Sunday evening.

If I’m positive, I’ll call Medical, then they can take me home.

And Carnival can start the paperwork trail for my FCC.

If I was doing a b2b now I would bring at home test and do last full day of 1st cruise to know

     Hi,

I’m on a B2B starting Friday. I planned on testing myself on Sunday evening before bedtime.

IF I tested positive can I just take my luggage and leave the ship?

This is a local port , so my husband would be able to pick me up and drive home.

Anyone know the protocol on this scenario?

    Thank you,

    🛳🛳

  9. Hi,

Nope. There is no Memorial Day Pre Cruise, Sale whatever they want to call it.

I have ZIP “Memorial Day” Offers under MY Offers OR VIP OFFERS.

I looked in my Junk Email too — just in case I actually received a email.

Carnival just does not send me all these Promo’s that I read other guests receive here on CC.

I get my 84 year old Mom’s emails. She gets Casino offers every week. 50% off etc etc. She hasn’t cruised since before Covid, now due to mental issues she can’t be cruising.

Not a casino offer.  You merely need to log into your account.

Probably because there are slim pickings.  Looks like there's a handful of cruises, including some peak summer, that are deeply discounted, but generally just one date per itinerary.  There were some "practically free" cruises earlier (mainly to Alaska) but those went very quickly.

I went this morning toCarnival & logged in, nothing. Read this thread, just logged in … nothing. I looked at the Insider Picks AND MY Deals.

Where is a Memorial Day Sale listed BTW??  When I logged in “the front page” doesn’t advertise any Sale. Just a Spa announcement — the normal.

Are others getting the Carnival Early Access Memorial day sale email today? I'm surprised there aren't more responses ......

Nope. No email from Carnival, nothing!

But, if the Casino is involved in any way, I never get those great rates.   I’m just guessing that I cruise often enough that “they” figure why offer a cheap-o rate?? 🤷🏻‍♀️😏

        Hi,

Wow! There is indeed another Marky Mark working on Carnival 😁😁!!

Our Mark is now ‘living on the land’  working a regular job.

Funny -no pun intended- he was the Comedy MC on the FREEDOM.

  14.  Cancelled an excursion in late March (originally booked the excursion in Mid February). Yesterday I looked throughly through my bank records. Nothing.

Ugh … I know I have to call …. But in April the time on hold to speak to any Rep, was a bit over 2 hours.

For those that have called THIS week, what as your wait time??

    Thanks,

    🛳🛳

The LA on the Navigator advised that no tests are needed for B2B fleet wide starting May 1st.  She advised that testing is still needed for S2S.

Thank you for this info.  Have a B2B on Navigator at the end of this month.

Markmom18, I thought your comments were inspiring. I think it is great that you are so comfortable in your sobriety that you can sit at the bar in a Mexican restaurant and not want one of those hand crafted

It's intimidating to friends of Bill W

       Hi,

Our little family, son Mark (last drink on his 17th birthday - he’s 30 now). And both my husband & myself — 17 & 10 years in 2022. Well, we’ve been active members in A.A. since Day 1.

It’s not at all intimidating to go to Carnival’s bars.  I could also apply this to land. Though we no longer go hang at “Bars” — what’s the point if you don’t drink alcohol?? 😄   We have dined in restaurants, in the Bar area, so my hubby can watch sports.

Our favorite Mexican place, our go-to location, always the bar.  Also, IDK, but never felt the need to order icy fruity NA drinks on ships. Just too sweet! I get Club Soda & plain cold water. My treat? A Red Bull a day on a cruise. Never drank coffee or smoked.

I just wanted to point out this out.  I can only speak from my own experience. Very, very comfy in my sobriety.

Now … my behavior in those drinking decades …. Ugh!   Seeing “normal” drinking is no biggie.

The really drunk folks … well they keep me humble … I’m just one drink away from that car crash!

For me, the AA Program is there …. to keep me on my Recovery Path.

      🛳🛳
