We won't be using the phone tracking option. Like all our cruises, phone(s) locked in the safe the entire cruise. We are good at verbally setting a time and place to meet,.

Thanks. After reading this thread and the Princess website I was able to understand the order placing. I assumed the phone would be required to track someone, but wanted to hear it from someone that has experienced using that function. Thanks.

So would we need to carry our phones for this function to work? This is all new to me.

IMO, the LA should look at the numbers of D, D+ and P's on a specific cruise and decide whether or not to open the CL(for those ships that still have a CL) or the SL to D+ (CL) and P's (CL, SL) based on those numbers. I believe the CAS drinks loaded on our Seapass cards are a good crowd control. But maybe not for all ships (?). But all this is way above my paygrade. We're just along for the ride and enjoyment. If we didn't hangout in the DL (~45 minutes) in the evening for our pre-diner drinks, we would hangout in the VCL in the evening for our pre-diner drinks.

We did a B2B on the Explorer in March and no notice either leg. No biggie. We already new from 2019. DL is in a better location than the CL.

What dining venue did you make reservations for? SD (Select Dining) and TD are a fixed menu with multiple choices for a appetizer, soup, salad, entree, desert. Selections changes each evening. Also the menu has some items that repeat every evening,

The evening CAS HH in the DL is from 5 to 8PM. Still the same small buffet with plenty of selections. The only difference now is no more unlimited drinks Your CAS drinks loaded on your Seapass card are used. We still enjoy going to the DL.

Agree even as a non coffee drinker. Man those machines must be more complicated that I thought. Probably a good thing I'm not a coffee drinker. 🤣
