Perhaps these staff members would be better employed by putting on a spare pinney and opening a few speciality restaurants. Perhaps they don't want to chat with the punters.

Ephesus is stunning . We have been twice, but have done ships excursions. Local guides are available. The toilet facilities are a bit primitive.

Our postie is fine as is the Hermes Lady. Shops work fine as well. Pop in ,pick what you want, pay for it. Coffee. Job done.

The last 2 cruises we have been on ,the buffet was self service. Celebrity and RC We will find out what Britannia is doing next week. On RC the entrance had been changed so you had to go through the hand washing area. I wonder if the P&O folk will be singing the washy, washy song. I hope so.

No problem with that, none at all. This thread does seem to have turned into an able bodied lift user bashing diatribe. Disabled folk using the lift should get priority, absolutely.

If we are on a low deck and want to go to a higher deck we will get in the lift if we feel like it. If somebody in a wheelchair arrives......After you. If going up the lift stops, we will get out and let any wheelchair user in . We are just as entitled to use the lift as anyone else. They are not exclusively for the use of disabled folk. Priority, yes, exclusive use, no. If I get tut. tutted, expect a response.

It wasn't in operation last year, so don't miss it. On Britannia in October will probably not bother. Off to the trough for a slice of pizza. Much more hygienic.

For some folk it's important to know what ingredients are in them. If the list isn't clear, the package needs to be examined.

We always let P&O deal with our cases the night before, have a leisurely breakfast and are normally off the ship by about 8.30. Are folk really in that much of a rush ?.

We often pop into Weatherspoons in town when we do our old fashioned ' going to the bank and have a wander around the shops. For you youngsters. Shops and banks once had places you could go into. Weatherspoons last week was full of those horrible little plastic sachets of gloop. They may have been telling porkies Wowzz, You know the things, covid, brexit, petrol crisis, cost of..........blah, blah.

We went to the Fjords with Celebrity in July. Stavanger was our Favourite. We did the local boat trip to the bottom of pulpit Rock last 2 cruises. Flam will have to wait for the next Fjords Cruise. Bergen in nice to just wander.

Many ,many cruises go to all the intended ports. We have been on over 30 cruises and have only, ever missed one port. Guernsey. Cinatown won't be put off, I'm sure.

Perhaps back to plan A.

Each to their own. We enjoy most of the speciality restaurants. We will do Limelight, Shindu probably twice, beach house. Glass house. Probably twice each. We may skip epicurean, but who knows. All part of the cruise to us. We will restrict our protest to missing Eric and Ern. 😁
