We were in Malta last week. Our biggest case was just under 20kg. It is the biggest case we have. Any bigger than that, DW would struggle a bit.

We used both on Azura. Both were pretty good.

At airports, I have seen folk ordered to take stuff out of their checked bag. They had to either wear it, or put in hand luggage. The weight limit is fairly strict. I don't know about the bags left outside of your cabin, but wouldn't be surprised if they were weighed by P&O.

This started with lapland breaks. Elf & Safety🎅

We have been Promoted to Bronze with BA ( that's one off the bottom ). It was quite nice to walk past the queue in Malta. Priority is a good perk when flying.

A couple of times our boarding has been too early. If we board on a British Gran Prix W/E a nice pub lunch near Southampton, watch the race and board about 4.00 is fine.

Our BA flight to Malta was well over an hour late leaving Gatwick..restrictions due to French Air traffic controllers ' strike'. Fact of life unfortunately. Our P&O TUI charter to/from Tenerife was fine, but BiL's jet2 flight was delayed. Risks we accept if we want to travel. Why was the Salzburg flight late?.

We didn't fly with TUI. We flew in a few days early with BA. We have cruised with RC, Celebrity and NCL on self organised fly cruises and never get a boarding time much after midday. We fly quite regularly with TUI and not had much of a problem with punctuality. Air Canada is a different story.

They may well check against their system. I'm not that desperate. Our boarding time for Azura was..any time after 11.00am. That was fine.

I wouldn't worry Jean. It is on the big megamonsters that you won't go on. It's a small ,intimate, music venue.

I'm not an expert but the lava rock is a very hot block of rock that you cook your steak on. You can cook it to your liking and each slice is hot. I thought the salt block was a block of salt lining the curing chamber. The salt sucks the moisture out to enhance the flavour. I may be wrong, but....🤔

3 is up to 10m. Can't blame the Government for everything. How many had their alerts turned off?. Up to 10m probably.

DW checked her expensive iPhone. " I didn't get it, blooming people can't get anything right, nincompoops"....,have you checked you settings dear to see if alerts are switched on?...of course they are....Oh!....Not P&O IT after all.

My son was driving with his phone playing music on Bluetooth. He likes heavy metal...Loud...the alert sounded through his car system....loud...that'll teach him.🤣

I'm on Tesco which uses O2 and DW is O2. I got it, she didn't. We were on Azura until Thursday. I used the app, she didn't. I believe it was probably P&O IT .😂

Vamps. You must post some stuff from florida. Nothing to do with cruising, I know, but a few on the" what are things like where you are" thread ?. Would be great. Happy smiley little faces would cheer us up.

Nowadays folk can multi task and do both. On Azura the silent disco provided entertainment for the participants and entertainment for the folk watching. Did they have a silent string quartet in the 1990s ?🤣

My thought was how Vamps and Scott are giving those little girls happy memories that will last for all of their lives.

We go to all the shows and try to see all the entertainers. On occasions we have been known to sneak out. We then pop along to be entertained by some other act. Sometimes, but not very often we go for a second time. Rarely do we decide to pop along to a bar to listen to some bloke banging on about the old days, or how he prefers Fred ,or Saga....I sometimes have this unkindly thought. If this cruise is rubbish, just like last time, what you doing here and why spend thousands to confirm it?.....just a thought.🤔

I agree with you. Why go to the theatre to watch a show, or go to a ' nightspot 'to listen to music, or see a comedian when you can go to a bar, or sit around a cramped dining table dressed like Sir Les Paterson and be regaled by tales of folks politics, number of cruises taken, price paid, loyalty level, or P&O's IT.......and another thing, how great Oriana was in the old days.🤣
