  1. Bad Words.#@%&...Bad Words #@%&.. I was watching the video trying to find the duck! 😱 Teach me to not scroll down first..🤣 Found it!!
  2. Just back from 4 nights on the Navigator, and Capt. James has returned. Said he came back a few cruises ago.
  3. While I was out running errands, I stopped and picked up a bottle of Kraken. No one mentioned that there is a white label and a black label. Being of sound mind, I picked the white label as it has a higher alcohol content. 😱 @lioness I was so happy to see that you have the white label too. 😀
  4. I feel your pain. I lost Mr. Kitty, a stray that adopted me, suddenly last July, and it still hurts. The vet thinks he had a stroke.
  5. O phooey....I'm scheduled to be on the Voyager TA out of Copenhagen on Sept. 4th. One of these days.....😀 Stay well.
  6. @Coralc Patti, So sorry to hear about your remodel issues. Fortunately Bill seems to be handy enough to fix what the so called "professionals" can't. Any cruises planned?
  7. Happy to say I am all caught up!! Not easy to catch up on 60+ pages when 5-7 new pages are posted each day. 😱🤣 I love this board! Once again, thank you again @dani negreanu for starting this thread!
  8. They ran out of Belvedere on my Ovation cruise, then they also ran out of GG 😱. Actually, they ran out of a lot of things. One night my martini olives were regular green olives with pits!
  9. Hi All. Back from two weeks in Alaska on the Ovation OTS, and I am really far behind! Looks like I am have about 61 pages to catch up on, but I will. I truly hope that everyone is well and nothing catastrophic has happened. Alaska was magnificent, as usual. I look forward to catching up. Stay healthy. Pat
  10. Thanks for letting me know who the Captain is on the Ovation. Just got off of two weeks on board and never once saw him out and about. Other than the Hotel Director, very low officer visibility on this ship.
  11. @Ozark_Kid thank you for the great review and fabulous pictures! I’m on board and can’t even keep up with reading all the posts, much less creating them. 🙀 The Aquarium is on my list for turn around day.
  12. Thank you for the reminder! I did this years ago, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
  13. John, Pike's Place is an open air market that you can walk through. They sell flowers, food, all sorts of "stuff'. The must see is the fish market when they are throwing the fish. Have fun. Sorry to have missed you. Pat
  14. @suzyluvs2cruise Hi Sue! Checking in to see how you and Jim are doing? Hope all is still going well, Pat
  15. 😱YIKES!! 😱 Question....are they still having masks available, or should I pack my own? Secondly, your fabulous photos have convinced me to get a new phone. Why carry my heavy Canon around with this kind of photo quality. Thanks!
  16. @Ozark_KidI am enjoying your live review sooooo much. This is really getting me excited for next week! Thank you!!! Hopefully this will earn you a ship in your avatar.... it should! 😁
  17. One of my favorite places in Skagway. 🍺 I hope you had a 'spruce tip' ale. I have one every time I am there, and so far, I haven't had scurvy 😂 For those that don't know, this is from their website: Spruce beer is a well known part of Alaska’s maritime history. When Captain James Cook made his first voyage into the Pacific during 1784, two sailors were employed as full-time spruce beer brewers. Cook and his men drank the beer to prevent scurvy, which is a disease caused by Vitamin C deficiency. You see, spruce needles are capable of producing a tea with 50mg of Vitamin C per 100 grams. At some point, someone must have asked, “If we can brew spruce tea, why not brew spruce beer?” That person is a hero.
  18. I'm sure I will. Yes, I've been to Alaska before and it is one of my favorite itineraries for the exact reason your photos are showing. The photos are stunning, but it is even better in real time. And the wildlife! I am so happy to hear you are enjoying yourself! I'm having a hard time getting motivated to pack for Alaska, as it was 91 here yesterday, and I find it difficult to be packing sweaters and long johns! 😱😂
  19. @Ozark_Kid I am so far behind on these boards, but read that you were doing this live review. I am now following with great interest, as I board on the 20th for a B2B. Your photos are spectacular (as always). Have fun! Stay healthy!
  20. I am so far behind on these boards, but I'm not complaining. Just got off of eleven days on the Navigator OTS and home for a week. Then, flying to Seattle to board the Ovation OTS for two weeks in Alaska. @Ozark_Kid Sorry I will miss you by a week. Retirement is the best job I've ever had!! Be well...stay healthy. Pat
