You can arrive as early as you like.New Cruiser here and have a read a few posts regarding the FTTF. I just purchased for our cruise on Victory in March. I see that you have priority boarding behind Diamond and Platinum folks and it gives me a 12-1 time even before I picked a time? I am assuming I need to arrive at the time on the ticket and secondly, are there other benefits? Impulse purchase this morning...Thanks,
Nick

NoGreetings,Usually sail RC, but doing a Carnival in January just to veg out after the Holidays. I read that the Cheers package is $5 less if purchased in advance - but do they/have they ever offered other better priced sales?
Just looking for info before pulling the trigger.
No - we will never hit the 15/day each booze limit :halo:.

I don't think gift cards are for you.I have enough AARP points to purchase some gift cards. But I don't like the idea of purchasing a card now for a cruise next year that I could end up cancelling. If I do cancel it, I would have money invested in gift cards that I can't get back until I book another cruise. Besides booking another cruise, does anybody have any ideas on how to get the gift card now but be able to get a refund of the amount later in case of cancelation?Once you buy it, you cannot get a refund. If you cancel, it will be returned as another gift card.

You will receive new gift cards. Hopefully you will receive them before your cruise.I bought Cheers with two $100 Carnival Gift cards ($29 with credit card) and after heavy weighing, decided that i'd be better off having that $229 as onboard credit to spend as I wish.I went into my Cruise Manager, clicked "Edit Order" and then it took me to a red button to click that said "Cancel Order." Did that and then Cheers disappeared and the $229 figure instantly went to zero.
Now...does the money go right back onto the E-Gift Cards? I still have my e mail for both Gift Cards with the number and PIN, but there's no way to check the balance to ensure it went back to it. IS there a place to go to enter the numbers to check? I hope I didn't just throw all that money into the abyss...

I say no.Hi FolksI grabbed what I thought was a bargain deal
10 days South Pacific on Carnival Legend EX Melbourne March 6th 2018
Balcony Guarantee
Note Prices are in $AUD
First 2 passengers $829 + $160.60 tax and port costs
3 Rd Passenger $359.40 + 160.60 Tax and port costs
So a quick 10 days up to New Caledonia and return to Melbourne for 3 Persons for $2500 .00
My question is will I be able to live with the ships somewhat "garish" decor ??
It sails one day prior to the Wifes birthday so I'm calling it "Her Birthday Prezzie"
So from the sublime of the Grand Suite on the Golden princes to the ridiculousness of the decor of Carnival Legend this was our Christmas cruise to New Zealand a trip we have made many times but decided to splurge on the best suite in the ship
What do you think any advice or tips gratefully accepted what do you know of Carnival Legend especially sailing ex Australian ports ?
Regards
John

All you will need are the birth certificates. And picture ID for anyone 16 or older.

Come back and ask again when you have more information. Then the people here can give you an accurate answer.A friend of mine booked a cruise on the Breeze (sail date Feb. 25th 2018) and I am supposed to be added as his roomie when he gets back to town. If the booking is currently just in his name, would there be a fee or cost to add a name or 2nd person? Thanks!!Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

You could on all the ones I have ever used. They are just normal washers and dryers.BumpI have never been on the ship you ask about, but unless that ship has some kind of weird machines, I am sure those are like the others I have used.

Not in the army either. No, at least not in the Navy. The number of alcohol-related incidents with sailors under 21 years of age would skyrocket. I happen to know someone near and dear to me who may have spent some time on restriction for underage drinking.Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

Depends on what fare you booked under. If early saver, there will be a $50 per person fee.We booked a cruise this week and now I'm rethinking our decision and wondering if we shouldn't have booked a different one.I'm looking at the fine print to see what, if any, fees that would involve. It says "
Changes made to the reservation may result in the assessment of cancellation penalties or service fees."We only have a deposit down now and the sailing isn't for another six months. Does anybody know if I can just change to a different cruise and what all that would involve? What would the fee be? Or does it vary? The fine print was pretty vague.
Thanks. Just thinking about it. Wondering what the options are.
If you book another cruise while on the phone to cancel the first one, and you are early saver, you can use the rest of the deposit as the new deposit and you will just have to top it up. If you wait to book another cruise, you will have to put down while new deposit and the rest of the old deposit will be deducted from the cruise balance.
If you did not book early saver, you can probably cancel and rebook with no fee.

You can't use flash drives on a carnival computer.Does anyone know if Carnival charges to use the computers on board but not the internet? Like just typing something up in a Word document to save on a flash drive? We don't have a laptop or a way to borrow one for our cruise, or we would just do that.

I think your friend is either mistaken or lying.

I think you got it.Maybe I misunderstand the OP's situation but if not, it sounds like he was was effectively negotiating price with the Carnival-contracted tour provider then wanted to claim the price guarantee rebate for the difference. I'm pretty sure that the guarantee only applies to a totally separate provider than Carnival's (which in this case it was not) and as I think someone mentioned, that provider rep the OP talked with could find themselves in violation of that contract with Carnival and be therefore dropped. I may misunderstand the details but it sounds to me like there would be no price guarantee payment warranted.Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

Actually, NO had 14 pumps not working at this time. From all the charts I've seen, it isn't that iffy. The storm is going to hit land significantly west of Galveston. That's bad for Galveston because it is on the east side of the storm, but New Orleans is yet even further east. They'll get rain, but nothing New Orleans cannot handle.Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

I have never found the parking to be bad, but I keep seeing people saying it is. I have been wondering if I missed something.

Unless the Port takes a direct hit and is unusable, the cruise will go on. Even if it takes a direct hit, it will probably still go on.
I suggest you make sure carnival has a good number to reach you at and sign up for text messages.
